Chapter 4

You sigh and roll out of bed, planting your feet firmly on the ground. Your legs wobble a bit as you walk to the bathroom. You head straight for the shower. Stepping in you realize you fell asleep last night without taking a shower, and that you are still covered in the grime of yesterday. So, you switch the shower on to hot and let the water relax your tensed muscles. You make sure to get clean, not leaving a millimeter of unwashed skin. The shower perks you up and you get dressed in a flash. It's a casual day, so you slip on your dark skinny jeans, one of the only pairs of jeans you own. You grab a galaxy tee shirt, and then your Converse. You top off the outfit with a gear jacket, and, after throwing some weapons into a backpack, you run downstairs and head for the kitchen. You have a schedule for your actual first, full day here. First thing was waking up and taking a shower. Done. Next is breakfast. You find a supply of fruit, yogurt, and granola. You grab an apple, strawberry yogurt, and a honey and oats granola bar. You wash it down with whole milk and then go to the training room for you daily exercise. You do push ups, sit ups, crunches, lunges, weights, and then Yoga. After all of this you wipe off with a sweat towel and then go to Izzy's room. You knock on the door and she answers in pajamas," By the Angel, why are you up this early?" You check your watch," It's 9:05." She nods and turns around," Wait an hour, I'll be up." She climbs back into bed and you leave, closing the door behind you. You figured all the Shadowhunters here would be up but Izzy has proven you wrong. You know Alec's gone, having left last night to go to Magnus's place. That only leaves one person. You knock on Jace's door. He answers without a shirt and you seriously begin to wonder of he ever wears one. You ask him if he wants to go hunting again and he tells you he has a date with Clary. You sigh and decide you just need some fresh air. He gives you his phone number incase you get in trouble along with other emergency contacts; Izzy, Alec, Magnus, Clary. You thank him and head downstairs. You don't have a car so you call a taxi. It takes you to the local shopping mall and you go shopping for things to decorate your room. That's when you run into Clary and Jace on their date. Awesome.
