The strong smell of antibiotics filled Luke's nose as he opened his eyes lazily. Once they were fully open his eyes met the most beautiful grey ones.

"Wake up sleeping beauty" she smiled as she pressed the cloth she was holding to her left cheek.

"Hi" Luke simply started and sat up straight.

"Hey" she greeted back with a cute little smile and then moved the cloth away from her red bruised cheek.

"What happened? And where is he?" Luke asked, his tone showing so much curiosity.

Jamie bit her lip nervously before saying, "Everything is okay, he's gone. Forever"

Luke's eyes widened in surprise and his own spit was caught in his throat, "are you saying tha--"

He couldn't finish since Jamie interrupted saying, "Let's just forget about that, and never talk about it okay Luke?"

Luke nodded but his head was bounding and his body was aching due to the pain he felt coming from under his ribcage.

"Where is Ash and Calum?" Luke blurted suddenly.

Jamie looked down and then up her grey eyes meeting Luke's ocean blue ones.

"Ash went to notify Calum and your family" Jamie shrugged her shoulders as if it wasn't important.

Luke's family.

They are not supposed to know about all of this.

No no no.

He doesn't want them to be all disappointed like they used to be, especially since the guy he killed is the brother of the girl he raped.

"Jamie please can you do me a favour and call Ash for me?" Luke tried to sound as polite as ever and looked at Jamie who was staring at the distance, never caring about anything.

"Are you okay?" He sounded worried and waited impatiently for her response.

She nodded her head, "I'm fine. You were saying?"

"Ah yes. Call Ash please, here's his number: (164)779927805" [this number doesn't even exist it's your problem if you call it]

Jamie obeyed immediately. She took her phone out of her jeans pocket and dialled the number as quickly as her hands could. Ashton picked after three seconds and Jamie handed the phone to Luke.

'hello?' Ash spoke sounding annoyed.

"Hey" Luke replied with a calm voice.

'whose this?' Ash asked. Luke could imagine him scrunching his eyebrows together as he always does.

"It's Luke and I wanted to let you know that I don't want my parents to know about what happened okay? Please don't tell them" Luke spoke in a calm voice sounding like a little child who didn't want his parents to know about the troubles he has done.

'Oh well I'm still with Calum and he's actually dying to see you. Also I've got your back mate, well be over in no time, gotta go now bye' Ashton talked way too quickly for Luke's liking. He said goodbye to Ash and ended the call chuckling about the whole Calum thing.

This dude is such a nice pal.

Jamie coughed as a sign to get Luke's attention, "Is it true?" She asked looking down and not wanting to meet Luke's eyes.

He knew what she was talking about so he nodded his head feeling the bounding once again, Jamie made an 'O' shape with her mouth and didn't say anything.

They both stayed silent for a while. Jamie sitting on the chair next to the bed where Luke was laying on.

"I believe that it wasn't your fault Luke, it's okay I assure you. Michael was always like that" She assured Luke and reached for his hand. He flinched when their skin touched but then relaxed when she interlocked their fingers together.

"Thank you" Luke mumbled and he was pretty sure that she didn't even hear him, but she didn't question it.

For the next half an hour, Luke and Jamie talked about a lot of random stuff. They joked and laughed along with each other until someone knocked on the door.

They both looked up and realised that Ashton and Calum were already here. The boys entered the small hospital room, Ash took a seat on one of the chairs beside the bed, and Calum sat on the bed.

He sandwiched Luke into a tight bear hug, "Gosh I missed you so much man!" Calum wiped away some invisible tears as a dramatic gesture.

"Cal you look like a fangirl who has seen her idol for the first time. Chill dude" Ashton told him in a uncomfortable tune, but he held back a humorous laugh.

"B-but I love Luke" Calum pouted and made the puppy face.

"Seriously dude I never knew you were gay" Ashton and Calum kept arguing about that for a while until Luke decided to break into their ridiculous argument.

"Guys we're still here, duh" Luke interrupted them. Referring to Jamie and himself.

"Yes. Its kind of awkward that I'm sitting here while you guys are talking about a subject like that..." Jamie tried to point out but Calum laughed.

"Do you want a hug too?" Cal asked in a so unserious tone and Jamie laughed at his stupid question. Her laughter filled the room, whilst Ashton and Luke joined her.

"What? That ain't funny!" Calum stated pouting and crossed his arms over his chest.

Their laughter died out and Luke had to ask the boys about this one thing, "did you guys find all the members to complete the band?"

Ash, Cal, and Jamie smiled to him but Ashton was the one to answer Luke's question.

"Yes! I'm the drummer, Calum is back vocals and guitar, Jamie is bass guitar and back vocals as well, and you my friend is lead vocals and guitar! Isn't that cool?" Ashton fist-bumped Cal and Jamie and turned to face Luke who was smiling uncontrollably.

"Is this for real? That is freaking awesome guys!" Luke was happy. Way too happy to actually think of anything that can possibly ruin his mood.

It was such a memorable day to Luke and he will never forget about it.
