Sleep weather, sleep.
"Ate Weather let's play? Please?" I looked at him and gave him my bored look.
But tears started to water his eyes. My poor little brother. tsk. tsk.
"Al'right, but just once. Do you copy Storm?" He nodded his head Immediately while he runs in my bathroom to count.
I silently took my laptop and earphones with me so I can finish my thesis while Storm finds me.
I went to the basement and hid on one table there and opened my laptop and pluged my earphones while listening to some random chinese instrumental.
After a while of typing a felt a bit sleepy so closed my laptop and transfered the music to my phone, under the table, I slept while the music on my phone was blasting and booming on full volume.
:--;🍒
I woke up with the coldness of the floor creeping unto my skin and the music got off, my phone probably died.
As my eyes got used to the darkness I grabbed my things and without removing the earphones I walk to my room sleepily. As I entered my room mess were everywhere, I shook my head and smiled, Storm must have looked for me everywhere.
I charged my phone and went to the bathroom to do my morning routines and go to school. As I finished I took my bag and unplughed my phone, I left a sticky note on our fridge saying I left early.
I was walking through the gate when I noticed that our house paint looked old and our gate looked rusty too. Weird, even the fridge and the whole house had dusts.
Anyway, doesn't matter. I have to go to school early.
When I walked out of the gate the old lady, Ms.Ara who was our neighbor looked so shocked to see me.
She seemed so amused to see me to walked to her but she just cried.
"I knew you were still in that house..." She said and hugged me. "...Weather, why have you showed up so late?" She said as tears falls from her eyes as she still hug me.
"Ms.Ara, What's wrong?" I asked, Ms.Ara broke away from the hug with wide eyes and disbelief written on her face.
"Weather, your family— They thought you ran away—Yo—you were gone for 6 years" ashe said stuttering and with what she said I dropped my phone.
Then it all made sense, the old and fading house paint, the rusty gate, the dusty house, why my phone died.
"Wh—where are they?" I asked as tears pooled my eyes too.
I can't believe it, I slept. In the basement for six years.
"They died on a massacre, 4 years ago." She said.
I felt my knees weaken, and my vissiom turned dark while Ms.Ara keep on consoling me.
"Sleep, Weather, Sleep." Was the last thing I heard as my vission blacked out.
