Chonghua hospital, Cebu city. 7:24 pm.
"Belguese, sing me a song please. I wanna hear tour voice." He said in a low voice, I wanna cry.
It's been years since I last sung, and now he pleaded so I will. I held his hand, he was almost skin and bones, he wasn't like this before. I cleared my throat.

'Cause you light up the path." I sang but I was cutted off when he pointed my phone, It was vibrating.
I took it and saw it was Paula calling so I answered it.
"Belguese, I watched the news today, it's going to have a meteor shower from 1 am to 5, let's watch it." She said through the other line.
I looked at Orion, he was smiling was staring at me. That smile. . .
That was the smile that made me fall inlove after all these years.
"I'll be watching that, bye." I said and turned off the call.
Every night I wished for the wishing stars, a wish that is for Orion. I love him so much, that even after 3 years of him being a cancer patient I never left his side. I was only his stalker, and now that he loves me I will never give up on him. Not ever.
I came near Orion and smiled. . . "There is a meteor Shower today at 1 am, but I'll leave for a while, I'll be back at 8 promise." I said and kissed his forehead.
He smiled at me, my heart just sunk 500 feet deep on my heart.
"Be careful, okay? I love you so much he said." He stuttered while saying that, he just had his chemotherapy five days ago.
I nodded and hugged him. "I love more." I said and bid my goodbye. I am going home today to get a ream of construction papers, I am going to.make 1000 paper cranes. It is believed in japan that 1000 paper cranes can be exchange for one wish, nothing's gonna happen if I try.

I was on my way back to the hospital. I stopped for a while to buy barbeque, Orion's favorite.
"Mama look at the sky!" A little girl maybe 5years old shouted, I looked at the sky.
It started showering stars even when it was still 8:45pm But still, I looked up and closed my eyes to wish.
For Orion's health. I loved him so much.
After I bid my wish, I started walking my way to the sidewalk and hailed a cab, to bring me to the hospital.
My phone rang, my bestfriend called again so I answered it.
"Belguese, Orion is gone." I dropped my phone with what she said, my tears broke and the driver looked at me from the rearview mirror.
"Ca-can you drive faster?" He obeyed with what I said and accelerated, I opened my backpack and pulled out a hundred peso bill.
As soon as I got down I payed him the bill without even taking the change, tears in my eye fell like a water fall but I was still hurrying to get to Orion's room.
Paula was there crying, she was weeping but she still managed to come near me.
"We're too late Bel, He—he died at 9:30pm."
I looked at my wrist watch, It's already 10:05pm, I came so late. I thought wishing would save him.
I wished to the brightest star yet it granted me a dark offer.
