The first clue that started of the search to find out if Sir James Paul McCartney was really dead, was when an American Detroit DJ, who was later called by John Lennon to angrily dismiss the rumours, was called by an ominous person, who asked the DJ to play revolution number 9 backwards. Forwards the song from The White , plays the words 'number 9' repeatedly; backwards it clearly plays 'turn me on, dead man', to prove their point that Paul did actually died.
From Glass Onion a song being reference to casket handles that dead Paul is looking through, Paul being in a casket-suitcase on the Yesterday and today album, Abbey Road's funeral procession and number plate saying LMW28IF meaning 'Linda McCartney Weeping, 28 If' when actually Paul would have been 27 at the time, to I buried Paul on strawberry fields.
In The last testament of George Harrison, he said that the reason why The White Album was plain white was because MI5 was after them if they didn't stop giving clues out. The four, including Billy Shears, had a penalty of death for revealing what happened to Paul, which is said to be why The Beatles ended. In Eleanor Rigby it was originally going to be Father McCartney but it was changed to Father McKenzie because it was too obvious. Which is true but not for that reason.
The clues are endless and could make a whole new document.
