I made my way out of the car angry as hell

"who did that fat chimp think he was talking to" I thought to myself as I waited impatiently for Alonzo to get back and take us home

lately I spend most of my time just thinking about the wedding and how close it is. A part of me still couldn't believe what was happening or rather going to happen

Alonzo and I haven't talked about it even though most times he's either working or in his office, I still feltb like I was getting married to a ma I knew nothing about... a stranger.

minutes later the door came open stopping my train of thoughts

"did he hurt you" he asked looking into my eyes as I stared into his grey ones, confusion labelled on my face

"did he hurt you" he asked again impatient to get an answer

he looked down, scanning to see if I was really alright, I followed his narrow as his gaze landed where I was gripped earlier

a red like circle had formed around my arm indicating how tight his grip was. I watched his grey eyes grow dark as his breathing changed

I knew instantly that wasn't a good sign, the door came open again and he stepped out walking towards the building

"Alonzo" I yelled getting out of the car, trailing behind him as fast as my uncomfortable heels could get me

just as he was about to walk in, the same man from earlier walked out laughing as he conversed with a smaller looking man. in the blink of an eye he was pressed on the wall as Alonzo continuously sent punches to his face causing blood to ooze out, for a second I could do nothing but watch, mainly because I enjoyed seeing the piece of shit pay, nobody talked, nobody stopped the scene from playing on they all just stood there watching the man get beaten to a pulp

"Alonzo" I called out walking closer. he didn't stop he kept sending punches into the mans face evev though he was already unconscious

"ALONZO" I yelled louder trying to pull him away and hopefully get his attention but he didn't budge

I placed my hands on his face, making him stop, looking into his dark eyes his breathing slowly returned to normal "its enough...its okay" I said giving him a small smile

we got back into the car and we were both quiet, his suit stained with blood as he drove home

a few times I could see his mouth open and then close I knew he wanted to say something but I was happy he didn't

as soon as we got home I was ready to just go to my room and spend the entire day there away from everyone

"why wouldn't he just butt out, now they'll all think im weak exactly what I was trying to avoid" I thought to myself as I took my bath washing off the little stains of blood I had on me

I got out of the shower wearing my robe as I dried my hair with a towel when a knock sounded on the door

"who is it?" I asked, walking closer to the door
