ALONZO'S POV
"After lunch i sat in the living room texting on my phone when I felt a pair of hands on my shoulder" I looked up to see who it was and it was Hira
"You're always so busy with one thing or the other Onzy" she said taking a sit next to me, a little bit too close for comfort, but I had always known Hira to be clingy and it was something I had grown used to over the years considering the fact that she was like a sister to me
"So, do you like her?" She asked looking at me
"Who?"
"Oh common Onzy just answer, I see the way you look at her"
"Don't start" I said laughing with my eyes still on my phone
"Alonzo" she said, coming even closer than before as i felt her hand on my thighs
"Have you ever thought of being more than just friends?" she asked batting her lashes like it was a rehearsed move as she got on my leg
"We aren't friends, you're like my little sis and like I've told you before we can't be anything more" i said with her still on my legs
"Why?, I'm not a little girl Onzy, i want you"
"Whatever it is you want is not going to happen Hira now get off me" i said, annoyance visible in my voice
"Just this once" she said wrapping her hands around my neck as she brought her lips closer with me resisting the uger to throw her off my legs
Just as i was about to, the sound of my name being called from behind stopped me as i turned to look
"Alonzo" she said as she walked in looking at the scene in front of her
"It's not-" I tried explaining before she cut me off
"Don't, I was just about to go out" she said with obvious hurt in her eyes
Growing up my father was notorious for cheating on my mum with different ladies, not scared at all to let her know
As time passed I promised myself I would never be that person so there was no way in hell I would let her walk out of the house thinking I was like that
I rushed after her as she made her way to the gate not caring how many of my men were watching me run after her
"Del" I yelled, stopping her in her tracks as I made my way towards her
"It's not...-we weren't going to..- it's not what you think-..." the only words I could put together
"So you two weren't about to kiss and she wasn't sitting on your laps with har hands wrapped around your neck?... look you don't have to explain anything , whatever happened that night was a simple mistake so you have absolutely no reason to feel like you need to explain
This is all business so you can have sex with whoever you want or in this case whatever you like... Now please excuse me I've got something urgent to do, I'm sure she's waiting for you" she said as she brushed passed me and out of the gates
Her words left me surprisingly hurt... "Why wasn't I able to explain?" I thought to myself as I walked back into the house
"Onzy" she said walking towards me with her lips between her teeth, swaying her hips
"Out, get out of my house" I said as I walked passed her and up to my room
