"Minhyungie! Sungchan invited me to a birthday party. Do you want to come with me?" Donghyuck asked Minhyung as he sat next to him, who was playing PS 4.

"When?"

"On Wednesday, after the class. We don't have class on Thursday, so I think that would be fine."

"Eh? On Wednesday? My bad, I can't come."

"Uhm, may I know why?"

"I promised to Lucas that I'll attend his birthday too, along with Yiyang."

Donghyuck's phone rang and Minhyung continued playing PS 4. Minhyung was glimpsing at Donghyuck when he answered the call.

"Oh, right now?"

"Okay, okay. I'll get ready. Just stay in the lobby, wait for me there."

"Alright, bye. See you!"

"Who's that?" Minhyung asked, not looking at Donghyuck and focusing on his game.

"It's Sungchan. My classmate. He wants me to accompany him to buy a gift for Shotaro. Maybe I'll buy one too. Anyway, I'll get going. See you later!" Donghyuck was about to exit in Minhyung's unit but the Canadian boy stood up and paused his game.

"Donghyuck. I'll send you there instead." He said, wearing a coat and his bag slung on his shoulder.

"Yah. It's fine! Sungchan will wait downstairs. I'll be safe, okay? Don't worry. I'll call you later if I'm on my way home."

Minhyung did not respond anymore and let Donghyuck go. Minhyung lazily resumed his game but with a blank reaction on his face. Donghyuck went down to the lobby after fixing himself, he saw Sungchan at the couch.

"I'm still thinking about what I should give Shotaro." Donghyuck asked as they wandered around the mall.

"I'm debating if it is hoodie or bonnet hat." Sungchan responded and Donghyuck looked up at him.

"My neck will break if I continue looking up to you. You're so tall!" Donghyuck playfully commented while Sungchan laughed and shrugged.

"What if I'll buy that hoodie, and the bonnet is yours?" Sungchan suggested why Donghyuck didn't think about that.

"Yah. That was a pretty good idea! Alright, let's go!"

After buying gifts, it took almost 1 hour of selecting. They couldn't choose what design and color that Shotaro wanted. But it will be worth it, the birthday boy would love them anyway. They ate in a restaurant, Sungchan's treat because Donghyuck accompanied him.

"You don't have to do this. I'll pay you back!"

"But—"

"Shush! No buts! I have money and I can buy this, aigoo! But, thank you so much Sungchan!" Donghyuck joyfully said to Sungchan as he giggled cutely.

Meanwhile, Minhyung was totally dull alone in his unit. He kept on overthinking about Donghyuck and Sungchan. He wasn't that obsessive towards Hyuck, but he couldn't stop thinking about how it would go. He was just afraid that Donghyuck might replace him.
