Isn't He Tired Too?

Joanna is angry.

Very. Fucking. Angry.

It's been two weeks since she noticed Hoseok trying to canoodle with her and the fucking guy still hadn't officially asked her out.

If she had a dime for the amount of times he's asked her out to dinner or bought her something with hearts on it, she'd have $2.70...and that's just for THIS WEEK.

At this point he has to be tired of the game too right? Like this has to be just as boring to him as it is to her. Mildly flirty conversations over burgers and chicken tenders is literally the reason she's gained her freshman fifteen three years late.

Her skin can't keep up with the amount of pop corn and chocolates he's been showering her with and no - she refuses to decline his offers because free food is free food, no matter the reason behind it.

She also refuses to ask him out to take him out his misery simply because she knows how much he wants to ask. During one of their "dates-but-not-really" at the library he proposed the two of them do some Buzzfeed quizzes to get over the writers block they were both experiencing.

Joanna's expression darkened pretty quickly and she almost told him to shove his quiz where the sun doesn't shine but by time she opened her mouth, he had already spread out on the carpet with his head in her lap, shoving all her books to the ground.

Rolling her eyes harshly, she knew there was no way to budge him - mostly because he worked out entirely too much and his head had to be a good 50 lbs.

" Fine Hoseok, but only a couple. I have to get out of here earlier than yesterday. It's my turn to cook for the brats." Hoseok looked appeased and quickly began to scroll through the app's selection of stupid quizzes that had little to no truth behind them.

"Here, let's do this one!" He seemed a bit too blushy for her liking until she saw which one he settled on.

'Make Your Perfect Playlist and We'll Tell You Your Dream Date'

Joanna began to stare bullets into the back of head as he avoided her eye and looked into the carpet. "You know what, Hoseok? I'll bite. Let's do it. You go first though."

His smile was entirely too big for the situation but she brushed it off and hit start for him.

The questions were fucking dumb, as she expected, and consisted of only the mainstream crap music that she knew Hoseok streamed daily. His song choices honestly made her want to gag as it ranged from Camila Cabello to Chris Brown. She was kind of doubting her feelings towards him by the end and passersby probably thought her face was going to be permanently sunken into her neck from the amount of cringe she just experienced.

Joanna being Joanna couldn't let him get away with having such a trashy taste in music so throughout the quiz she would throw in a few comments.

"You're a fucking troglodyte, my guy. Please never ask for my aux cord because I will flame your ass."

"Now I know why you live alone. No one in their right mind listens to this shit, Hoseok. Please tell me you're kidding."

Hoseok just laughed along as he remembered the time he caught her listening to 'Ratchet Girl Anthem' by Emmanuel Hudson, singing each word as if she was stuck in the 7th grade.

"You're just mad that they only have good, happy music and none of the emo shit you listen to, Scott. Don't make me play 'My Funeral' out loud so people can hear the trash you subject yourself to." His response made her promptly shut up as she knew his annoying ass would actually do it.

"Whatever, just hurry up so you can get your results."

"I'm already done. Look." This made her turn back towards him and read the screen he pushed into her face.
