Since it is the month of Christmas, different colored stars sparkle in all the shops, the rich aroma of plum cakes waft from the bakeries... colors of green and reds dominate in most shops, and Mahi starts begging her mom for a small Christmas tree...

For the next few days, Mahi doesn't talk about anything else.

On December 20th, Kathir goes to the airport with Paarvathy to pick up Murugan. He is so happy to see Kathir and they chat amicably on the way home.

And they all chat for a long time, Kathir having gone up to give them all some family time together.

Mahi makes a huge fuss to go to school that day...

He has a suitcase full of gifts for her.

That evening, the entire family goes shopping. They come back with a small Christmas tree that has inbuilt lights that changes colors and Mahi and Mullai decorate it with tinsels and baubles, and a tiny golden star on top.

Mur: Santhoshamah Mahi?

Mh: Aama Thatha... Thank you...

And they take lots of pictures...

Once Mullai's school closes for Christmas holidays...

Mahi has the time of her life...

They go to Guindy park and Snake park one day, Phoniex Mall the next..

Some days Mullai stays at home to correct papers.

They watch the movie Frozen 2, and then the following day visit Egmore museum ..

On the day that they go to VGP Marine World, Kathir accompanies them...

India's first walk through aquarium and have a gala time there looking at the variety of fishes there and marveling at God's creation.

Mahi never leaves her grandfather's side.
