The following day, Kathir goes off to work... Kanna, Mullai and Mahi have a fun filled day at Express Avenue Mall. Mullai goes to the beauty parlor there for trimmimg her eyebrows while Kanna plays with Mahi at the play area...

She comes out and sees Kanna bite into a huge burger..

M: Ithu dhan unnoda dieting ah? She teases him..

Kn: Ithu whole wheat bun... Approm night dinner eh skip panniduven..

Mullai tries not to laugh...

They go back home and Mahi dozes off immediately...

Kathir comes home in the evening just as the three of them are leaving to buy groceries for the week.

K: Five minutes irrungae...nanum varen...

Mahi immediately gets off the activa..

Mh: Naan uncle odae bullet leh varen...

Kn: Vevramanae aalu pa nee...

Mh: he he he...

They come back with bags of groceries and Kanna helps her stock up..

M: Amma Appa eppo varatha idea leh irrukangae... Phone pannae... Tho vanthudrom nu sollurangae...aana eppo nu sollalae...

Kn: Athaiyum maamavum enjoy pannurangae... Amma, Dhanam anni approm Moorthy annae... Ellarum night muzhukkae nallae kathai adkirangae...

M: Unage chinna anni...avungae ennamaari type?

Kn: Kutty anni ah... Avungae seriyanae comedy... Aana Jeeva annae avungalae paathae meralum...

Both of them shake in fits of laughter...

K: Konjae naal leh, Kannavum ithae maari meraluvan...

He says, overhearing what they both were talking about...

M: All the best da...

Kn: Thanks ka...

M: Ennalae nammbavae mudilae, Kannavukku kalyanam ahae pothu nu...

Mullai pinches Kathir...

Mullai laughs and walks off to the hall...

The next few days, there's a new routine in the house...

Since Mullai has to cook and then go to work, Kanna helps her in the kitchen early in the mornings and Kathir is in charge of getting Mahi to school... And when she comes back from work, sometimes Kanna has snacks ready for Mullai to eat.. Evenings they all play badminton in the street and some nights they go out for dinner and spend late nights watching movies on Amazon Prime.

And that weekend her parents arrive with so much presents for Mahi from all of them back at Kunnakudi...

Mahi once again is plastered by her grandpa's side...

Late at night, the night before Pongal... Mullai sits on the portico of the house while Kanna, Kathir and Mahi draw a huge colorful kolam..

Mullai' dad is already asleep while Paarvathy hovers nearby fretting over the fact that men are drawing kolam while Mullai is sitting nearby like a sack of potatoes..
