the battle for earth

This skit takes place in an alternate timeline, where yellow attacks the earth, the crystal gems are down, connie is dead, Steven is holding her. Yellow was about to finish the job, but 8 legendary individuals interfere.

Steven's POV

This is it, the gems are down, Connie is dead.

"Farewell, rose quartz." Yellow diamond spoke.

I close my eyes waiting for the blade to hit, but it never did.

I open my eyes to see a person with some weird but cool looking armor on, a purple shield and a flaming sword.

"The fight has only just begun yellow!" The figure spoke.

My POV

I use my shield to push yellow diamond back, my friends, my fireteam, walk up beside me.

"Nice save Zach." Nova spoke.

"Thanks nova." I tell him.

I look at Justin and ethan.

"Justin, Ethan, tend to Connie's wounds." I order them.

Ethan and Justin nod.

"Nova, raider, aiden, husky, jedrus, with me, it's time to show homeworld that the war is far from over." I tell them.

"Let's do this!" Nova spoke.

I summon my sentinel shield and dawnblade, as does Nova, husky, and jedrus.

Raider summons his golden gun and spectral blades.

Aiden summons burning maul.

We start glowing our diamond auras, mine being purple, Nova's is black, aiden's is red, raiders is green, huskys is orange.

We charge the opposing army.

Guardian ships can be heard flying in behind us, along with a guardian fleet.

Steven's POV

I am shocked at what I am seeing, six of the 8 people fighting with powers I have never seen before.

"Hey kid, I'm Justin, my friend beside me is Ethan." Justin told me.

"I'm Steven." I told him.

I look at Ethan.

"Is Connie going to be okay?" I ask.

"She'll be fine, she's only knocked out." He told me.

I sigh in relief.

"Who are you people?" I ask.

Justin spoke up.

"We are guardians, defenders of the last city on earth, and the center of the multiverse, our friends out there, along with other random guardians you see in the skies and on the ground, are fighting to protect the earth." Justin told me.

Ethan chimed in.

"Steven, we also knew your mother, rose, we helped her during the first gem war, when she told us that she'll be giving up her physical form for you to live, we promised her that we would watch over you, your mother would be proud of the man you've become." Ethan told me.
