"Come on! Up and at them, Motormouth!"

"Gah!" Jay shot up, and darted his head around wildly, to see Cole already dressed, laughing, "Why did you do that?"

"You wouldn't wake up. Classes start soon, get changed." He left the room, most likely to find Seliel. Massaging his forehead, Jay swung his legs out of bed and headed to the bathroom. Just as he was about to switch the light on, they flickered alight by themselves. Probably an elemental thing, he thought, reaching for his toothbrush.

He brushed his teeth, splashed water on his face, and attacked his wild hair with a brush, eventually giving up and ruffling it up with his hands. Heading back into the room, he pulled out a blue hoodie, with a white shirt, jeans and trainers and slipped them on.

I think that's everything. He took his dorm key, and left the room, heading downstairs to the cafeteria.

"Hey, Jay!" He whipped around to see Morro run after him, pulling on a sweater over a white button up shirt, "Sit with me, I have no clue where everyone's gone off to. Plus, you're in my first class: Weather Control."

"O-Oh, sure."

"So they'll be here this afternoon?"

"Yeah. It's just regular spot checks. Act natural and you'll be fine."

"Brother, I have dealt with the Royal Family's visits before, I think I'll be fine."

"Of course you will, Wu. Their daughter will also be with them, just a heads-up."

"I got it. Thanks."

From outside the door, Pixal listened in on the two brothers. The Royal Jade family always made a monthly visit to each school for evaluations. This time their daughter, Harumi Jade, would be coming too.

Sooner or later, an announcement would be made.

"Greetings, students of Darkley. This is your principal speaking. This afternoon, we will be expecting a visit from the Royal Jade family of Ninjago. As always, you know the drill."

Jay looked alarmed, "What drill?"

Morro swallowed a bite of toast, "If they ask you any questions, answer with confidence. Don't mention our elemental powers. Or we'll be killed. Got that?"

"Got it."

"Good." He pushed his chair back and stood up. Jay followed after him, and they ditched their trays and headed to their first class.

"Morning, students. For those of you who don't know, I am Professor Nadakhan Djinn, and I will be leading Weather Control, also known as..." Everyone watched as Nadakhan turned around and messily scrawled something on the chalkboard, "Atmokinesis. You!" He pointed straight at Jay, "M-Me?"

"Yes. What can a user of Atmokinesis do?"

"Um..." Come on, Jay! You read about this last night! "Control the weather?"

"Correct. What is your element?"

"Lightning?"

"Very well. You!" He pointed at Morro, "What are the main factors of Weather Manipulation?"

"Air, Electric, Thermal and Water." He deadpanned. Nadakhan nodded, "Looks like you've done your reading. Now, let's see the elements in action." He pressed a button on the wall, and Jay watched as a dome was set around the school, before vanishing. Morro nudged him, "It's invisible. Our powers will only affect what's between the dome walls, and won't be noticed by normal humans."

"Wind, go!" Nadakhan ordered.

Morro clenched his fist, and the air outside suddenly gained a heavy breeze. He relaxed his muscles, and the wind stopped.

"Good. Water, go!"

Nya raised her right arm, and wafted her fingers around, as drops of rain fell from the sky, getting heavier and heavier. She clenched her fist, and the rain stopped.

"Good. Ice, now!"

Zane closed his eyes, and tensed up as snow drifted down to the ground. He relaxed his muscles, and the snowing stopped.

"Getting there. Light!"

Paleman's hands lit up, as did the sun, as the clouds disappeared.

"Nice. Lightning!"

"Um..." Jay gulped, and raised his arms, squeezing his eyes shut. But alas, nothing happened. He felt beyond embarrassed as he tried again. Still nothing. Nya raised her hand, "Sir? He's new."

"New? I see..." He scribbled something on the corner of the chalkboard, under more writing.

Nadakhan's To-Do List:
Buy bread
Feed dogs
Water plants
Yoga class at 7pm
Transfer Lightning to Atmokinesis 101: FDR: For Dumb Rookies.

From outside the classroom, Lloyd was staring in through the window. He'd seen how Jay struggled to conjure up his powers...and failed. Miserably. This was all just proving how Jay was probably an imposter. And yet, nobody had realised.

So, this is short, I know. But Imma write a oneshot to make up for it! I also decided to write a prologue and chapter 1 for an AU THAT'S NEVER GONNA HAPPEN-

Why?

1) BTW isn't halfway through.

2) I'll probably ditch it

3) I was gonna ask (AT THE END OF THIS BOOK) if you want me to do the AU I've already written a prologue for OR if you want me to go back to Legacy High and write a sequel about the Dragon Games.

So...yeah! I might not to the sequel, and just jump on to the new AU, but we'll see!
