Maggie's P.O.V

As I was brushing my dead daughter's hair Rick said they needed me to let her go.
"No! You can't please. I can't let you take her." I sobbed.
"She's... she's our family too just let us take her." Rick cried. I let go of Enid and I watched how she was dragged away for me.
Glenn hugged me tight and we decided to go back home. I felt pain and rang that I never felt before. Except when my father and sister died. I went upstairs to my bed and cried myself to sleep. And Glenn was by my side. I just want to disappear.

A couple days later...

I woke up not in my bed but in a infirmary bed. I slowly opened my eyes. I spotted Glenn and Dr. Carson in the room talking. I slowly moved and the boys rushed to me. I felt very weak.
"Easy Maggie easy. Maggie you suffered a separation from placenta for uterus. But the separation was small." Dr. Carson said gently.
"Did I lose...?" I said with worry.
"No your twins are fine do you want to listen? Here let's take a look." Dr. Carson said. He put the stick thing on me and I counted two perfect heart beats.
I quickly exhaled with relief and I wanted to sit up. "Carful Maggie. You need to move slowly." Dr. Carson said holding out a hand for my to hold on.
"Thank you." I said. I wiped the gel off of my belly and I pulled my shirt back over me. I slowly stood up. Glenn held out his hand to help me. Before Glenn and I went outside he pulled me aside.
"He told me your going to be alright. You just need to take it easy for a couple of days." Glenn said with our hands concerting together.
"Yeah. He told me we have to stay. That we, umm... He says it's better if he's close just till the babies are born." I said with a slight glance at my belly.
"Then we'll stay. Glenn said putting his other hand on belly were my hand is. Glenn and I walked outside and we found all the hilltop people looking at us. Then someone broke the silence.
"Thank god your alright. I'm sooo sorry what happened to you, Glenn ,and... her. We were all effected that day." Jesus said with a big hug then started to pull away with his head down. I just stood there in silence not knowing what to say.
"Why don't you come into my trailer and I can get you some comfy clothes. I'll set you up in there so you can rest." Jesus suggested. But before we could start walking Gregory showed up.
"Thank god your finally awake. You people really need to stop showing up here." Gregory said glaring at me. Glenn and I looked at each other in discussed.
"I think you need to leave Marsha and Gleen." Gregory said pointing at me.
"It's Maggie and Glenn." Jesus said glaring at Gregory.
"I-I-I'm happy we could patch you up. But you are no longer aloud to be here. And make sure Rich knows what we did for you." Gregory said starting to walk away.
"Dr. Carson said we should stay." I yelled.
"If he thinks that he has the authority to make that kind of decision it's a mistake." Gregory said turning around. Glenn made a mean face.
"Don't look at me like that. You will both be safer at home where you belong." Gregory said getting in Glenn's face.
"Gregory this is Glenn, Maggie's husband. He helped Maggie get here safely. He's also helped with hilltop crops and training our people to fight." Jesus said.
"Yeah yeah whatever I don't care.  I did not agree to this they need to leave now." Gregory yelled at us.
"Gregory it will be night soon, it's not safe for them to leave now." Jesus said to Gregory.
"Look I'm a good guy you can stay the night and that's it." Gregory said pointing at both of us.
"So it's settled. Stay the night leave in the morning and Jesus you can take them back." Gregory said.
"No it's not Maggie is pregnant." Jesus said holding one of my shoulders. We both grinned at each other.
"Obviously I can tell. Well that's her mistake and that still doesn't change anything. I mean seriously why would you get knocked up at a time like this?" Gregory said flailing his arms an walking away. Glenn started to charge at him.
"Don't it's not worth it." I told Glenn. Jesus looked at the both of us and Jesus and Glenn stormed after Gregory.
I walked around for a bit and got to fell the fresh air hit against my face and into my hair. Then I sat down on one of the stairs in front of the Barrington mansion. I felt a tear fall down against my check. I put my head in my hands and started to cry. I thought about Enid every minute of every second. I couldn't help but think my precious daughter was gone. Then I heard people coming. So I quickly dried my tears on my sleeve and walked to the sound. It was Glenn and Jesus.
"Come with me. Well get you situated." Jesus said kindly. Glenn grabbed my hand and pulled me up and we followed Jesus to his trailer.
"Thank you Jesus you didn't have to do this for us." I said giving him a hug.
"But I do. Because I don't care what Gregory says your staying here. You can stay here as long as you want.
"Thank you." Glenn said. We walked in and it was comfy and cozy. Then we heard the hilltop gates open. Glenn, Jesus, and I all went outside to see who it was and we saw Daryl. Glenn and I ran to him. Daryl and Glenn came in for a big hug. Once they let go I was just staring at Daryl with tears in my eyes. Daryl and I came into a crying hug. I knew how much Daryl cared and loved Enid. And how much Enid loved Daryl to like an uncle.
"I'm sorry I'm so sorry." Daryl said with a tear falling down his check. I whipped the tears from his face.
"She was just to precious to take." I said chocking up as Daryl brushing his hand against my check whipping my tears away too. Daryl and I gave each other one last hug and went into Jesus's trailer and ate dinner.
