Getting her home

Maggie's P.O.V
(Maggie's 6 months pregnant)

I woke up in Negan's bedroom. When I sat up I heard Negan coming in to see me.
"Good morning Maggie how are you feeling." Negan asked politely.
"I've been better." I answered. Then Negan sat on the bed right by my feet.
"I've been thinking and I think I'm going to let you go home. I think you will be safer there then here." Negan said with a sad face. I moved carefully over to him.
"I forgive you." I said giving him a small kiss on the cheek.
"Really?" Negan said standing up.
"Yeah. I mean you have done so much for me since I've been here and I appreciate that. You didn't have to save me from David and also the gun shot either. I know killing Enid wasn't your fault either." I said.
"Come on let's get you home. But we'll meet your people in a tunnel half way Simon is on his way to the hilltop to tell them now." Negan said putting on his leather jacket.
"Thank you so much." I said giving Negan a huge hug.

At the hilltop
Glenn's P.O.V

I was in Jesus trailer thinking of how long Maggie's been gone I silently cried. But then a metal pipe was clashed.
"The Saviors Are Coming!" Cal yelled to the whole Hilltop.
Jesus came in and said that we had to stay put. So we did. We looked out the window to see Simon and a couple other Saviors. They went into the Barrington house and I guess they needed to speak to Gregory. But a little while later Simon came out of the house and Gregory was standing on the porch and pointing straight at us. Jesus and I looked at each other.
"I think they want to talk to us." Jesus said.
"Yeah I think so." I said in response. Then we heard a knock on the door. I opened it.
"Well hello again Glenn. You need to come with us. We're giving you Maggie back. She's had a couple incidents happen. So Negan thought she would be safer at home with you all. So come with us." Simon said pointing to the door. I stood there with tears in my eyes and I ran straight to the my car and followed the Saviors. Then we headed to the tunnel that we were meeting Maggie. We arrived at the tunnel and I immediately got out of my the car. Then I saw Negan helping Maggie out of his truck. I ran to her and she ran as fast as she could to me and we landed in each others arms. "Are you ok? What happened?Simon said you were hurt." I said with worry.
"We will talk about it when we get home." Maggie said walking hand in hand.
"I'm so sorry." Negan said then he hopped back in his truck and left. We got in my car then headed home back to hilltop.
We arrived back at hilltop and the first person who came up to Maggie was Jesus. I don't think I've ever seen someone run as fast as Jesus did. He cried as soon as his best friend came into his arms. I saw Gregory from a distance and he looked disappointed to see that Maggie was back. Yesterday Jesus and I were talking and saying Maggie should started leading the hilltop. I think we'll bring that up to her in a little while. But for now we need to make sure she's ok. I need to know if she's ok. So we headed to the infirmity to see Dr. Carson.
"Nice to see that your back home." Dr. Carson said giving Maggie a hug. He did the usual things like ask questions and asked Maggie to lay on the bed to do start the ultrasound. So she did. I looked over at Maggie and she was crying a little. We both looked at each other and we both had tears in our eyes.
"It looks like they are both fine. And Maggie just be careful about your wound if any tears or rips in your stitches come straight to me. Other wise they are perfectly normal and healthy." Dr. Carson said with a pat on my shoulder.
"Thanks Carson." I said with a hand shack.
"Of course anything for my best  patients." Dr. Carson said with a smile. We went out of the infirmary and we went to Jesus's trailer.  She was finally home and save. Right?
