I should have told you

Maggie's P.O.V(when she walked down the stairs)

I heard the doorbell ring and headed down stairs then I heard Michonne talking.
...every time I'm in your family home.
"Thanks we put a lot of work into it." I said coming down the stairs gently. As soon as everyone got comfortable I went to go show Judith her new play area that Enid and I set up because when we babysit her we wanted her to have a comfy place to just hangout in. Then I looked over at Enid to see that Carl and her were going up stairs, and since I'm sooo nosy I wanted to see what was up.
"Now don't go running of anywhere you little stinker." I said to Judith rubbing the top of her heard. So I left Judith to play with her toys and I went up the stairs quietly. That's when I heard Enid talking not about Carl, not about Judith, but about me. I was surprised of what I heard.
"...I don't really know I'm kind of worried about my mom I can't figure her out ever since she came back from the run she's been acting weird."
"What do you mean weird?"
"Well... when she was in the bathroom with my dad they were laughing then my dad called me in to his room and said she wasn't feeling well then she comes down the stairs asking like she's fine. I don't get it..."
I turned to the wall and shedded a tear. I was not a good mother at all I didn't even tell my own daughter what was happening to me, to us. It's kind of important too. I whipped my face off and I went back down stairs to go help Glenn with the food. He saw me and noticed I had been crying.
"Hey honey... are you alright?" He said.
"Yeah I'm ok." I said softly.
Glenn hugged me and said in my ear,
"It's going to be ok. I promise."
He always knows how to make me feel better. Once dinner was done I yelled upstairs for Enid and Carl. Then I helped hand out the food. When we all sat down to eat we said grace and then ate and talked a lot. When I was almost done with my food I began to feel nauseous, achy, and light headed. I jumped up.
"Please excuse me." I said then running to the bathroom with Glenn running after me. I almost didn't make it to the toilet in time to you know, and then I felt soft warm hands on my back and holding my hair up. Once I was done relieving myself I sat up taking a deep breath and grabbed toilet paper to whip my mouth off.
"Maggie? You ok honey?" Glenn said to me handing me a glass of water.
"I'm better now, but now I'm scared to go back out there and say or doing anything, I mean Enid is already questioning me of how I've been acting." I said starting to cry with my head in my hands.
"Hey hey hey, it's ok Maggie." Glenn said holding my hands and carefully standing me up.
"We will get through this, You will get through this and Enid will get though this it's ok I promise it will be." Glenn said encouragingly.
He whipped my tears and we went back out to the kitchen. Everyone was looking at me. I got red in the face I thought I was going to explode.
"Maggie's just a little under the weather that's all." Glenn said and sat me down and he sat down too.
"Aww poor thing." Michonne said caringly.
"Well you know what can make you better?"Rick exclaimed.
"What?" I questioned
"Wine!" Rick said with excitement.
I thought I'm my head oh sh*t. What am I going to do?
Glenn and I looked at each other. I sat there pounding my foot on the floor.
"Umm no thanks I'm ok, but thanks for the offer." I said
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME, Maggie you are our #1 party drinker, and you always have wine at dinner. Are you like pregnant our something?" Rick said as I got sooo red in the face I thought I exploded.
"RICK! What is wrong with you? I'm sooo sorry Maggie, I think it's time for us to go, but thank you for dinner it was amazing maybe we should do this another time maybe just us girls though right? Michonne said.
"Of course that would be a wonderful idea." I encouraged.
"We'll see you tomorrow love you all good night. Come on Carl and Judith lets go home." Michonne said lovingly.
I closed the door behind them and started to put the dishes in the sink. Then I saw Enid sitting on the couch with Glenn talking. I hurried up and cleaned them. Then I walked over and sat down next to Enid. But when I sat down next to her she immediately stood up and walked to the stairs.
"I'm going to bed good night mom good night dad love you." Enid said with a sad voice running up the stairs.
"I've got to go cheer her up." I said starting to walk up the stairs until I noticed Glenn was walking by my side up the stairs. Then Glenn headed into our bedroom.
"I'll be here." He said with a smile. I walked down Enid's hallway and knocked on her door. I walked in slowly.
"Hey honey, you ok?" I said calmly.
"Not really." She answered.
"What's wrong honey."I said gently rubbing her back.
"You." She said with a sniff.
"Me?" I questioned.
"Yes you. I heard you laughing with dad in your bathroom and I couldn't help to see what you were laughing about and then dad called me in to start dinner because you weren't feeling well so I went down stairs to make dinner then the doorbell rang then the Grimes family came in and Michonne made a comment and then you came down the stairs like you were fine. Then at dinner you THREW UP. I don't know what to do I just want you to be ok and just so we can be back to normal again and the major thing is that I love you Mama and I don't want anything bad happening to you EVER." Enid said as I started to tear up and then she hugged me soo tight I almost couldn't breath.
"Enid nothing is going to happen to me ever as long as I have you, your silly dad ,and..." I paused for a second.
"And...what?" Enid questioned. I took a deep breath.
"Well..." I started to say then I looked down and put my hand over my stomach. It took Enid a little bit to figure it out but she caught up.
"Wait...a...minute... Oh my goodness REALLY!" Enid said springing from her bed with excitement.
"Yeah, I found out a month and about three weeks ago, that's why I've been so sick. It's called morning sickness and night sickness." I explained.
"Ewww" Enid said with a scrunched up face.
"Haha, yeah it's kind of gross. But hey it's getting late why don't I tuck you in and sit here for a little while. Does that sound good?" I said rubbing her shoulders.
"Of course. You haven't done that in a while. But I have a question. Does anyone else know yet except Dad?" Enid questioned.
"Not really except Dr. Carson. But I bet Rick and Michonne have an idea now. But for now we're going to keep it a secret, ok?" I said.
"Of course I will mom.
I understand how important this is to you." Enid said hopping on her bed and sliding under her covers. I giggled and I sat next to her.
"Hey can you sing me that lullaby that you taught me?"
"Of course" I said cuddling in close.

After I was done I looked over and I saw Enid was fast asleep.
"Works every time." I said turning off her light then walking out of the room to my bedroom. Then I saw Glenn in bed just laying down I went to my closet to change for bed. Then I went into the bathroom to wash up and do my business then I walked out and Glenn was sitting up to see what I was doing.
"What?" I questioned him.
"Your just soooo gorgeous and I'm lucky to be married to you, take Enid in as our daughter with you, and well..." he said standing up and walking over to me and grabbing my hand. "Having a baby with you." He said smiling and putting his other hand over my nonexistent baby bump.
"Oh shut up, let's just go to bed."
I said with a laugh.
"Did you tell Enid?" Glenn said with excitement.
"Yes I did, but can we talk about it in the morning I'm sooo exhausted I can barely keep my eyes open." I said with a little frustration.
"Fine. But I want to know everything." He said with a smirk. We both headed to bed and Glenn pulled me close. He was so soft and warm. He just made me feel relaxed.😌 Glenn whispered something in my ear.
"I love you." He said softly.
"I love you too." I said quietly to him.
