YUNA'S POV
i few days have passed since foundation day. got7 confirmed that they will be having a comeback soon. i'm lowkey excited since this is my first comeback with them as a fan. school's spring fling is also around the corner and everyone is already talking about it. i mean i don't get why it's called spring fling even though it's not spring anymore.
"omg yuna i'm so excited for this year's spring fling" me and chaewon were at our lockers preparing for our next subject.
"we should go shopping this saturday"
"i'm not going"
"what? why?"
"it's so boring! besides i don't even a date" i closed my locker.
"has aiden talked to you again?"
"i guess? we just have small talks and that's about it"
"how about you who are you going with?" i asked. "jaehyun as always"
"spring fling is still a week away, you might change your mind and come"
"nope i've decided i'm not coming" i saw her pout. "anyway catch you later chae"
time skip
today was wednesday and alot more students started talking about the spring fling this saturday. i'm still conviced that i'm not going. also 2 teasers from their comeback has been released and it looks like this is going to be a really lit song! the choreo looks so hard aswell and omg youngjae's vocals. and have i talked about jaebeom's long hair? omg.
i was at the school grounds and was about to go home when someone called my name. "yuna!" i turned around and it was aiden running towards me. he catched his breath when he reached me.
"why were you running aiden?"
"i.. wanted to ask if you already have a date for the spring fling" he was still panting.
"oh i'm not going" he looked at me confused. "really?"
"yeah i always find myself not enjoying it very much" the air was suddenly filled with silence.
"look yuna, i'm sorry if i haven't really spoken to you the past days"
"no it's okay-"
"it's just that i'm so hurt. i knew i didn't have any chance with you but i had some hope. maybe, just maybe, i thought you'd accept me"
"aiden i'm so sorry" i tried to think of something.
"maybe let's give it a shot"
"what?"
"let's try it. if i wasn't so blind i wouldn't have hurted you as much-"
"n-no no, you don't have to. love shouldn't be forced and i'm sure that you're not gonna be happy with me"
"no that's not true!" he held my face with his left hand.
"i'm sorry for being such a baby about this, i love you but you deserve to be happy with someone you love" he placed his lips into my forhead.
"i'm always there if you need me, i guess it's time to let you go" he hugged me tight before he left the school. i just stared at him as he was walking.
my phone buzzed and i received a message.
