I need to see my girl

Jessie's POV
I was sad. K was being distant with me since she went to visit her mom and now she wouldn't pick up the phone. I sighed and decided to go to Sync's room to get my mind off things.

"Hey guys" I said casually while sinking on the couch next to Jordyn

"Hey Jeff. You seem off... Everything ok?" Huitema ask worried about my behavior.

"Yes... it's just... Karla has been avoiding me since she went to Ontario" I said letting my thoughts out waiting for an advice from my friends.

"She told me she wasn't feeling too good these last days Jess. I thought you knew." Jordyn told me confused about how I didn't know about my girlfriend sick status. I looked at her surprised clear ignorance about the situation.

"Tobs and Baby horse are flying to Ontario right now Jessie. Tobin just told everyone on the Torns chat. It seems to be serious" My anxiety started picking up by that last statement.  I started shaking and I feel arms around me. Jordyn tried to calm me down, telling me to call someone who would know what's going on with my girlfriend.

"Jess, let's give O'hara a call, isn't she the one who was with Karla? Let's not get ahead of it" Jordyn said while taking my phone in her hands.

"Let me call her for you Jeff. You are too shaken up to make that call." Sync said while dialing Kelley's number.

"Jessie" A raspy voice answer. That wasn't the usual Kelley O'hara behavior with me. She ALWAYS called me Fleming.

"Hey Kel. Sync speaking. Poor Jessie is crushed. She's super worried because little Morgan hasn't been answering her calls and Tobs just told the Thorns that Alex and her are going to Ontario fir an emergency, also Karla told Jordyn that she wasn't feeling well these last days"  Sync rambled and wait for Kelley to answer. All we heard was a hesitant breath

"Is Jessie there? Am I on speaker?" Kelley asked hesitant about letting us know what was going on.

"I'm here Kelley" I whisper but loud enough for her to hear.

"I'm so sorry Jess. I took care of her I really did. She just got worse and worse. They said it can be Covid-19 but we won't know until tomorrow. She didn't answer you or Alex because you guys would get worried and I couldn't get her to understand that she needed to tell you guys. I swear Jessie I bring her to the hospital as fast as I could but-" I blocked everything she said. I knew I shouldn't have let her travel. She has been through so much and her asthma problems were severe. I stand up and run to my room to pack my things.  I feel someone follow behind me but at this point I didn't care. I needed to see my girl
