All of a sudden doctors and nurses were filling my room. A doctor opened each of my eyelids really quick and a bright light filled my head. I wanted so bad to wake up, I tried so hared to get my eyes to open. I could see the faces of four doctors. One looked at me and signaled to the other doctors. Some doctors left. A nurse gave me some water to drink. My parents ran in.

“Hey mom, hey dad,” a whispered in a croaking tone.

“Oh sweetie, we love you so much!” My parents looked so sad. I felt so bad.

I later found out that I had been in a coma for four days. The hospital wanted me to stay in the hospital for two more days, and if everything was ok, I could go home. I also found out that I had a CT scan done showing that I had one large brain tumor and two small brain tumors. They told me I had four months to live. This wasn’t new to me, but I still was shocked. I was hoping it wasn’t true.

Over the two days I talked with my parents, but mostly I just sat with Max. We didn’t talk much, but we held hands and looked at each other. My parents wanted to take me somewhere when I got out of the hospital, so they took me to see a movie. They were being super nice, I just wanted things to be normal. After the movie we went out to lunch and went shopping. I didn’t buy much, just a few hats, I was set to start chemo in one month. Today was Friday, so I only missed one week of school. We didn’t have much work, just studying, we have finals next week. My mom didn’t want me to go to school today, but I convinced her to let me go on Monday. We went home after shopping, because I was tired. I fell asleep within minuets.
