I have always loved you

Renesmee’s point of view

I couldn’t believe what I saw when I walked into my boyfriend, Luke’s apartment, he was hugged up and kissing some other girl. “Luke, what are you doing?” I asked as tears come down my face.

As soon as he saw me the look of shock came across his face, it was like he didn’t even hear or see me come in until I said something. “Renesmee, this is not what it looks like,” he told me after the shock wore off. After he said that, all I could do was laugh and say, “oh really and what does it look like? You know what on second thought don’t answer that I have to get to school.” I walked out of Luke’s house and got into my car.

I drove as fast as I could to the school because I knew that there was going to be one person that could cheer me up no matter what the problem was.

Jake’s point of view

When I saw Renesmee walk in the front door of the school, I smiled and walked over to her. However, as I got closer I realized she had been crying. “Hey, what’s wrong?” I asked as I now walked beside her. Renesmee looked down the whole time I was walking with her. It pained me to see her like this, so sad, so hurt and I didn’t know why.

A few minutes later, she said “Luke has been cheating me.” I could tell she was in pain. “Aw Renesmee, I am so sorry, but he was a jerk anyway,” I told her as I put my arm around her.

There was a moment of silence between, and in that moment of silence I was trying to decide whether or not to tell her how I feel. It’s now or never, Jake I thought to myself, so I stopped walking and stood in front of her, lifted her head so I could see her face and then took a deep breath before I started talking, “Renesmee, I know that this might not be the right time to tell you this, but I feel if I don’t I might not get another chance. Renesmee Cullen, I have loved you ever since I met you.”  Renesmee seemed to be taking in what I had just said, so I waited. “Jake, I know I just broke up with my boyfriend, but I have always loved you, too.”

When I heard her say that I instantly kissed her. “My Renesmee now,” I said and she smiled.
