"I'm Klai," the gorgeous girl with long wavy hair introduces herself, "it's nice to meet you guys." She gives me a nervous smile and I smile back.
"I'm Ollie, it's a nickname for Oliver but I personally like Ollie better," the tall, lanky guy with glasses tells us with an easy smile.
"So are you guys nervous?" Klai asks, "or is it just me? I don't want mean kids."
I shake my head, "You're not alone, I'll cry if I get mean kids." I say laughing and Klai joins in lightly laughing. "I think we'll get nice kids," Ollie says with a smile.
He looks up and around the area, "Do you guys know where the last guy is, what was his name?"
I shake my head, not remembering the name of the last guy that is in our day group. I grab my paper packet from yesterday to see if it's in the papers I got.
"I found it, Adonis Reyes," I say the name, and I suddenly feel someone's presence behind me. Before I can turn around the person announces their presence, "I like my name coming out of your mouth."
I turn around to find a guy with dark brown curly hair and green eyes, he walks past me with easy-going confidence. He turns and puts one arm around Ollie's shoulders and the other around Klai. Klai's caramel-colored cheeks grow pink when he winks at her.
"So, what's your name, love." He makes eye contact with me and I make an ungodly sound, similar to that of a dying cat. Yes, I know I'm mature. He quirks his thick eyebrows at me, "You good, love?"
"Please never call me "love" again." I deadpan and he laughs lightly and says, "Sure thing, love."
He introduces himself to Ollie and they do the bro hug, immediately hitting it off. Klai introduces herself with a nervous smile playing within her features. Adonis gives her a smile and kisses the back of her hand, she giggles lightly.
I stand on my tiptoes and look over to the activities list where other groups are finding their scheduled activities for the following weeks. I see Rosalina throw her hair over her shoulder while talking to a guy next to her in line to see her activities. I feel the sass from here.
"Maybe we should go get in line guys?" I suggest to my group. Klai nods in agreement and I begin to walk over but,
"Love, why would we wait in line when we could go get something to eat and then come back to find our activities? By the time we get back, there won't be a line and I know you're hungry." Adonis walks backward, leading us in the opposite of the direction where we should be going.
"Well, I don't know," I huff, "Maybe because we're supposed to be learning the activities, not eating food when we just had breakfast."
"Breakfast was like an hour ago, I'm hungry. I'm going with Adonis," Ollie fist bumps Adonis and I roll my eyes. Boys are always hungry.
