Zackary POV
Me, Yuya, Yuzu, Sora, Zander, Allie, and Tate were standing infront of Shūzo, ready to go to the Arc League Championship.
Shūzo: I knew you kids were talented, but who'd have guessed you'd all qualify for the ARC League Championship!?
Shūzo starts to tear up.
Shūzo: It's the proudest moment of my dueling career! Let's bring it in, everybody!
Shūzo tries to go in for a hug but we all move out of the way, but, we all quickly move out of the way so he falls onto the ground. Then someone runs him over with a bicycle.
Shūzo: Let's pretend that didnt happen.
Yuzu: Okay, I don't have a problem with that.
Allie: Shouldn't we be making a beeline for the arena?
Shūzo quickly gets back onto his feet.
Shūzo: Right you are, Allie. But first let's have a quick refresher. As you may remember, this championship will be sectioned off into three age brackets, beginning with the Youth Division. That's where Tate and Allie are competing. While Zackary, Yuya, Yuzu, Sora, and Zander are competing in the Junior Division. Unless you've been asleep for the last decade, you know that these League Championships are a titanic deal! Of course, all the top duel schools will be represented by their best and brightest, including the Leo Institute. But there will also be incredible duelists from across the globe! So this our is chance to show the world that You Show's duel training style of combat is the best. You've all been terrific teamates to each other, but starting now it's gut-check time, and I want you to think of eachother as potential rivals. Torch all your competitors! Burn up the field! Feed the flames! Keep turning up the heat on your rivals till you reach victory in a blaze of glory!
We were starting to walk to the car but he just continued his spiel. Once inside we buckled up and we were ready to roll.
Shūzo: Time for the You Show Express to get underway. Onward to Victoryville. There's no stopping us no.
Yuzu: Ahh!
Shūzo: What's wrong, Yuzu?
Yuzu: Sorry, dad, but we're one passenger short.
Shūzo: Who's missing?
We look over to where Yuya was supposed to be, but, he's not there.
