CHAPTER 2

I am staring at my classmate who's silently sleeping. Seriously girl? We are in the middle of the class and you still had courage, she was only two feet away from our professor.

"So, now I assume everyone in class understand the concepts of capital market, since review na lamang ito," saad ng guro namin pagkatapos n'ya ibaba ang librong binabasa nya.

Nilibot n'ya ng tinggin ang buong kuwadradong lugar na kinaroroonan namin, ang hirap naman kasi sa kan'ya, habang nagdi-discuss nakatungo at nagbabasa lamang. That's why she can't see what's going on around her.

Una nyang sinuyod ng tinggin ang mga nakaupo sa likodang bahagi papunta sa paunahan, hanggang matagpuan ang dalawang babaeng, isang tulala at isang natutulog.

She walked slowly, trying not to make noise, "How about you, Miss Graville?" she bent over and whispered to Xan.

Ewan ko lang talaga sa babaeng 'to puyat na naman at 'yong isa naman tulala, definitely, daydreaming again.

Binato nya ng marker si Syn pero hindi ito tumama, upang mahulog sa sahig at gumawa ng ingay. Ngayon sigurado na s'yang nakuha n'ya ang pansin ng dalawa.

So, tell me why do I befriend the both of them?

I intentionally caught my professor attention by raising my right hand, "Miss, I know the answer."

Nagtaas sya ng tinggin sakin, "Of course, alam mo ang sagot, and I know you're paying attention, unlike this two," sabay tapon ng tinggin kay Xan at Syn.

"I will not tolerate this kind of attitude in my class, hindi porke't the both of you are candidate for Latin Honors, it doesn't mean na pwede nyo ng bastusin ang klase ko," galit pa rin n'yang pagsasalita sa dalawa.

"Girl, saan club ka na naman ba pumunta kagabi? Halatang puyat na puyat ka," tanong ni Syn kay Xan, habang sumubo ng pagkain.

We are now at the cafeteria, having our lunch, since we got another class after an hour, we decided to eat here, and it'll be convenient for us.

"I didn't do clubbing last night. Faith got a pool party in her house, and she invited me. The both of you didn't answer my phone call kaya ako lang pumunta mag-isa. Since Zane is busy on his study, while Endy just got home from Japan," pagpapaliwanag n'ya.

Putting my spoon and fork down, since, I'm done eating my vegetable salad, "I slept early last night." Informing her why I couldn't answer her call.

"Gurl, alam mo naman na busy ako sa bahay," habol na paliwanag ni Syn.

Xan and I, plus Endy are bestfriend since highschool, we only meet Syn in first year college. Endy is two years ahead on us, he's studying law right now. While the three of us, are blockmates in the course of business administration.

Before Xan can finish her food, Endy and Zane approaches to our table.

"Hi Love," Zane greet her with a kiss on the cheek. Zane also a law student, according to what I heard, mainit ang competition nilang dalwa ni Endy, in terms of study, but the both of them are in good friends outside the class.

"Ang taray talaga pag mayaman, parang kabilang barangay lang ang ibang bansa," Syn said pertaining to Endy. Mukhang may jet lag pa, nakabusangot ang mukha.

Endy sat beside Syn at sumubo ng baon nitong pagkain, "Please, don't mention that, it will ruin my mood all day."

"Why? What happened, I thought you're planning to buy some sort of comic," looking at him confusedly.

He glare at me, while still eating the lunch pack of Syn. "Prime, that's not a comic, its manga, there different," may diin sa kung ano dapat ang itawag.
