Chapter 4 ♡: First Show

Hot water ran down my body as I stood in the shower, rinsing the soap off. Levy and I just made it back to her place, and I immediately hopped in the shower. It felt so good to finally take my makeup off and feel clean again.

I turned the water off as I finished up. Quickly, I dried off and put on a pair of comfy shorts and a loose t-shirt.

Levy showered quickly after me, and I started gathering my things that weren't already packed away from when I had arrived at Levy's originally.

I can't believe I'm going on tour, with these guys we just met. It'll be more difficult for my father to find me this way too...at least for a while.

When Levy got out of the shower, we decided to eat some lunch. I had already packed away most of my stuff so I didn't have much to do for the rest of the day.

"You ready for this?" Levy asked as she took a bite of the sandwich she had made.

"Yep, I think so. This is going to be so exciting, and now I actually have a job!" I exclaimed happily.

"Are you gonna be able to handle being the only girl around? I didn't get the impression many other girls are involved with their touring stuff."

"I don't see that being an issue. I can definitely handle it, I'll be fine."

"True, looked like you and that Natsu guy were getting pretty cozy anyways..." Levy teased.

"Are you serious? The guy was totally uninterested when we talked this morning, he probably just felt obligated since we'll be working together." I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms.

Levy just laughed. "I was only joking, Lucy! He seemed like he was just a bit quiet, maybe because we were new people to him."

"Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Oh well, I'm not too worried about it. After all, I'm there to do my job."

After lunch, I made sure the last bit of my camera equipment was packed, along with my laptop. Levy and I watched some movies for the rest of the day and decided to go to bed early since we needed to be up and ready to go in the morning.

The next morning

I finished putting a small bit of mascara on my eyelashes, doing only minimal makeup today since I assumed we'd be driving all day. I brushed my hair and threw it up in a side ponytail, then I slipped on my black Vans. I just wore black jeans and a sweatshirt, I wanted to be comfy today.

"You ready?" Levy asked as she grabbed my camera bag to help me load it into her car.

"Yep!" I exclaimed, grabbing my purse and duffle bag full of clothes.

It only took about 10 minutes to arrive at the hotel we needed to meet at, Levy pulling up to the front as I texted Gajeel I was here. I looked up from my phone to see the boys already standing there.

"Hey, you made it." Gray said. "We've been waiting on you."

"S-sorry I didn't think I was late...?" I said as I climbed out of the car to get my bags.

Gajeel and Laxus took my bags from me, and started heading towards their tour bus.

"Bye Lucy!" Levy called to me.

"Bye Lev, I'll see you!"

Gajeel paused for a second and turned to face Levy's car. "Don't worry, we'll take care of her."

Levy drove off and we all headed to the tour bus. "So...how long will the drive be?" I asked.

"About 4 hours, so it won't be the worst drive." Gajeel said as him and Laxus put my bags away.
