A kind devil's Guardian

Chapter 2

Here is the second chapter to my story enjoy.

After a few weeks later Issei seems to be fitting in well as a devil. He now has a few of his own clients that he visits when they call on him. When Wendy and Koneko went to the ORC building for the day they heard Rias lecturing Issei about how he should not go near the church. Apparently Issei befriended a nun and showed her the way to the church as she was new to the area. Rias did not want a conflict with the angels and did not want her pawn to die due to him trespassing on their territory.

After that conversation everyone continued their afternoon as usual. Later that night Rias is informed of a stray devil that the team must eliminate. Wendy joins the team on this mission as she normally does.

The team makes it to an old and abandoned warehouse where they split in groups to search with strict orders to contact the others when they find the stray. Wendy goes with Rias and Koneko while Kiba Issei and Akeno forms a squad. As they search Wendy hears what sound like an animal eating something and they find the stray devouring an animal carcass.

When Akeno and her group arrived at the scene Rias takes the chance to explain the Evil Piece system to Issei and explains each person's chess rank and abilities.

When the team confronts the stray, Issei is distracted by the strays' female upper body that sat on a centaur like lower body. This caused the stray to get a surprise hit on him sending him flying.

Koneko rushed forward and used her strength to the stray flying through the wall with a hard punch. Her attack was followed up by Kiba using a sword he created with his sacred gear Sword Birth. He cut the strays arms off resulting in a pained screech from the stray. Before the stray could retaliate Akeno sent a lightning attack at it paralyzing it. The stray unable to fight back or run away requested Rias to kill her. Rias complied with the strays' last request.

After the stray was dealt with Wendy went to heal Issei of his injuries. After he was fixed up she went and checked everyone else.

A few days later as Issei went to another mission to get a contract. Wendy who stayed with everyone else at the ORC building saw Rias looked nervous and uncomfortable.

"Are you worrying about the mission Issei went on?" Wendy asked Rias

"I just have a bad feeling about it. I can't explain really it but I think something is up" Rias said in a defeated tone.

"Why don't we go check up on him then?" Wendy asked in a caring tone.

This caused Rias to get a small smile. She agreed to the idea and everyone followed her to go see how the newest member of the peerage is dong on the mission.

When they arrived at the house where Issei should be they were shocked to see the door broken open and a battle raging on inside.

The group rushes in to aid Issei in the conflict. Inside they see what appears to be the mutilated body of the potential client, a young girl with long blonde hair and green eyes, dressed in a nun outfit slumped against the wall, and Issei fighting young man with short white hair and red eyes dressed in clerical clothing. Kiba rushes to aid Issei in the fight while Koneko and Akeno go to provide support, Wendy rushes to the nun girl and start heling her wounds.

The unknown man lets out a deranged laugh when the devils arrived.

"So you called for reinforcements you filthy devil scum? No matter, I the great exorcist Freed Sellzen will kill you all" he rants all while laughing like a mad man.
