A kind devil's Guardian

Chapter 3

Asia woke up in a comfortable bed and an unfamiliar room. Looking around she saw it was a normal room with the basic furniture in it. The only thing you will not normally see in any old room is the blue haired girl looking at her with a smile.

"Hey how are you feeling? I'm Wendy Marvell Gremory and this is my house" Wendy introduces herself.

"Hello I'm Asia Argento, nice to meet you. I feel fine but where am I and what happened?" Asia asked as she sat up in the bed.

"Tell me what you remember last" Wendy inquires.

"Well I remember a lady named Raynare putting me on some sort of alter and telling me she will take my sacred gear. Then I felt a lot of pain. After that I remember a boy named Issei I met holding me with tears in his eyes asking someone to heal me. After that everything is blank" Asia replied recollecting the events of the previous night.

"That is basically what happened last night the only other thing is that after I could not heal you died. Issei asked Rias, the other girl who lives here, if she could do anything. Long story short you were then reincarnated as a devil" Wendy replied in a sad tone.

"Wait, what do you mean I died? And how was I reincarnated?" Asia asked bewildered.

Wendy explained that she is a devil as well as Issei and Rias, she further explains about the Evil Piece system and how after she died Rias resurrected her with a Bishop Piece. After that she went on to explain that being a devil is not really that different from being human in daily life.

"Ok so if I understand this correctly I died got reincarnated as a devil and now I'm a servant of this Rias person?" Asia recapped what she just learned, a little bit tense at her current predicament.

"Yes but being Rias' servant doesn't mean you are like a slave it's more like you are part of the family" Wendy said to ensure that the wrong message is not delivered.

"Oh that's not so bad then" Asia replied with a relieved smile.

"If you are feeling well enough, we can go to school today otherwise I will stay here and keep you company" Wendy said with a kind smile.

"School? But I'm not enrolled at any school, I was just a nun at the church" Asia said confused.

"Oh sorry, I forgot Rias had you enrolled at our school, this way you will get to know the rest of Rias' peerage" Wendy explains as she gives a slight bow.

"No need to apologize. I think that I'm well enough for us to go to school" Asia said with a smile.

"Ok your uniform is in the closet come down stairs when you are done I'll get you something to eat" Wendy said in a cheery tone as she exited the room.

After they had breakfast the two devils made their way to school.

"You said you failed to heal me before I died, does that mean you are some sort of healer?" Asia asked Wendy as they walked to school.

"Yes, my magic is healing magic. I don't have any offensive spells so I usually just hang back till someone gets hurt" Wendy replied.

"So we both are healers then. I hope we can be good friends then" Asia smiled at Wendy.

"Yeah let's be friends" Wendy smiled brightly as the two new friends arrived at school and went to the principal's office to get Asia her schedule. Asia was placed in the same class as Rias, Akeno and Issei so Wendy was confident to leave her at the door and went to her own class after saying good bye to her new friend.
