Chapter 13

"Ohh," I just said as I feel my body fall and as the world turns black.

Darkness, total darkness but after that there was a light so bright I was forced to close my eyes.

"Oh yeah," I thought to myself as I remembered my self fainting. That's right, I fainted because my Hunger was already 100% and my stamina was 0%.

"I overdid myself," I thought again.

The bright light, I didn't realized it but it was gone and so I opened my eyes and I saw darkness again. An endless abyss. My friends, Ailus and Lyric are they ok? Are they safe? I hope they are.

I remembered what happened, all the creatures fleeing out of the cave, away from the deadly song of Undine the Water Spirit that protects that sanctuary. Chiron, he told me it was dangerous, if I didn't listen to him I might have ended up fainting inside the cave, slowly dying as my HP gradually goes down.

"Wait," I thought, "why didn't I return to the real world? Am I not dead yet?" I asked myself, again there was this blinding light which forced me to close my eyes, but it's different. I can hear a faint sound, I can't seem to understand what this sound is. It sounds like there's someone talking, a muffled voice. When I opened my eyes I was back in the sanctuary.

"Lightining Strike!" I heard Ailus casted, is this what happened? He was fighting a Wind Elementalist. I looked around and Poseidon is also here and he's fighting two Elementalists but the tall guy wasn't here. Lyric must be fighting him.

"Oceanus' Wrath," Poseidon casted as water came out of his trident creating multiple water hurricanes that went to target two of his enemies. Poseidon is strong, too strong, because as when those two got hit they both lost all of their HPs.

"Wow, good work Poseidon," Ailus shouted showing a thumbs up, "now it's my turn to end this," he added as he went to face back his enemy.

His opponent retreated, he casted a strong gale that pushed Ailus back to stop him from doing a spell. The Wind Elementalist went running to wherever the path he went to went.

"We have to chaise him," Ailus told Poseidon but as he said that he almost went down but Poseidon caught him just in time.

"No, your stamina's already down," Poseidon said worriedly, "You need to rest for a while," he added as he sit him to the ground slowly.

"Thank..." Ailus was cutted when Undine's voice started to echo around the cave. Ailus tried to block it by placing his hands over his ear but it doesn't work, I can see that he's starting to get dizzy.

"I need to get you out of here," Poseidon mouthed as he tries to carry Ailus. Poseidon wasn't quite affected, he might have a strong resistance to it.

Ailus just moaned in response to Poseidon, he's starting to lose consciousness. Poseidon started to flicker, he's vanishing, maybe the Master's consciousness might have a direct effect on the Animus.

I can't bare seeing this, I would've helped Ailus if I was only there when it happened.

Poseidon was flickering much faster now, he's starting to go transparent. Ailus is starting to go unconscious. Poseidon placed him back to the ground, he's trying to do something, he made a summoning circle.

"Hurry up," I cheered him even though I know that this already happened, I still don't want him to fail, please succed.

The summoning circle glowed. The light started to take shape, it was a horse. That makes sense, Poseidon was the one who created horses. He then went to pick Ailus up and placed him on the back of the horse.

"Take care of him, take him somewhere safe," he mouthed, I guess the horse understood despite of the loud lullaby echoing.

The horse started running towards an opening and Poseidon was left there slowly vanishing but before vanishing a water orb came out flying from his palm to one of the openings of the cave. I hope that Ailus is doing ok but what about Lyric? What happened to her? I also want to see how her battle with the Leader of those scums went.

A blinding light shined again and I can hear another voice.

"Youajsja Makdkkaa" said the voice. I can't make it out, it sounds so distant.

I tried walking closer to the light and I'm starting hearing it more clearly.

"Young..." I heard," Master," I heard again.

"Chiron?" I called but another bright light shined and I closed my eyes.

"Young Master," said the voice, it's closer now. It is Chiron.

"Chiron?" I said as I open my eyes adn saw a man with a beard.

"Young Master!" he said wkth enthusiasm.

"I-," I said but I didn't have the energy to finish it.

"Don't force yourself," he said, "you fainted, you must have been tired," he added.

"Where?" I said which is the only word that came out my mouth.

"We're here at one of the rooms in the Mirage Tower," he said.

"Wh," I just said still can't speak clearly but I guess Chiron understood what I meant.

"It's a safe place for travellers and even for creatures like us," he answered, "We were lucky we found it as it only appears randomly, sometimes, it doesn't even appear at all," he said.

"He should take this," a Nymph said handing Chiron a cup full of something I don't know.

He helped me sit up and made me drink it. It was quite warm and a little thick. It looks like honey, it's kind of sweet. I feel energy flow back to my body and was quite able to move now. I was now able to talk.

"Thanks," I thanked him as I touched my head risisting the splitting headache I'm resisting.

"You're welcome Young Master," he said, why is he calling me Young Master? I actually don't know why, the question just popped out just now.

"Why are you calling me Young Master?" I asked him.

"It seems like the most appropriate name to call you as you never introduced yourself," he said which actually made sense because I didn't actually told any of them my name but I think there's more to it than just that. I didn't thought of it that much as my head hurts so bad.

"I am Aisen," I said, "Nice to meet you," I added as I slowly offer him my hand.

"Nice to meet you too Aisen," he said taking my hand for him to shake, "you should rest for a little more, you stilk need to recover," he then said.

"But my friends," I said trying to stand up.

Chiron stopped me from standing up and layed me down. Base on his face it seems that there's no news about them.

"Rest," he said as he left me lying there.

I swiped in the air and checked if there one of my friends messaged me back but nothing. No messages from the both of them.

My Stamina wasn't down and my Hunger wasn't that high now. That honey like thing they made me drink actually helped, I even recovered some of my HP and MP.

"Mirage Tower," I thought to myself, "how lucky of us to find this place, but I wonder how it looks like outside this room," I said lying down to rest and recover for a little bit cause I've used all my potions back there in the cave.

I closed my eyes and was about to go lay down when I felt something cold splashed over my face.
