that night, i hoped i had never said goodnight. the persistent nightmares i've been experiencing have reached the climax on this particular night.

i was in a land of despair. only black. darkness enveloped me and there was no sign of life. each word i spoke echoed everlastingly.

ominous voices surrounded me.

they were whispering as if they were desperately trying to convey a message. i shut my eyes, afraid of what's to come.
