I quietly opened the door, hoping not to disturb them.
But they weren't trying to go sleep, at least Yotsuha wasn't.
"Finally you're home! I thought you'd been kidnapped or something!" She exclaimed rolling her eyes and sighing.
Acting like a teenager when you're only nine? Yikes. I wonder what she would be like as an actual teenager.
"Sorry about that but I told you that I was safe."
"Yeah but still. I thought you were lying."
"Well I wasn't, as you can see. Has Granny gone to bed?"
"Yeah. I said I would wait for you to actually get home first before I would. So, goodni-. Hey. What's written all over your hands? Does that one say I love you? Seriously? Already found someone to date you in Tokyo?"
"WHAT. Ummm. I have no clue what you're talking about!" I exclaimed in embarrassment and frustration.
"According to that huge blush across your face, you do know what you're talking about but you don't want to tell me."
I slapped my other hand across my face, trying to hide the blush but actually making it all worse.
"OH MY GOSH! THAT HAND HAS WRITING ON THE BACK OF IT TOO! Taki Tachibana? SO YOU ARE IN LOVE. Already? We just arrived...jeez....Also, are you desperate for a tattoo or something?"
"Noooooooooooo I don't want to talk about this and no I don't want a tattoo. I promise I'm not rushing into anything-- I-I-ve known this person for a while, I promise."
"You met on the internet? Like I don't have problems with people having internet friends but Sis, meeting up - especially in the dark - is risky."
"You can stop worrying, it wasn't from the internet. It's a long story. Can I just go to bed now?"
"Go ahead but if you were that desperate to sleep you wouldn't be back so late."
"Whatever. Goodnight."

I know I should be happy that I know get to sleep in a real bed but, come on. It's not home and I'm not used to it yet.
My head hurts from processing this crazy week.
Itomori. I hated living there but as much as I wanted to leave and actually move to Tokyo, I didn't want the town and all the memories to be destroyed.

This is what I always wanted right?
I should be happy.

But you can't be happy at a time like this. Even if you have now got Taki's number.

I woke up at 6am from the sound of my ringtone. It was now nice and relaxing, starting the say at a good note. But even nice relaxing music gets annoying on repeat over and over again so eventually I had to give in and think about getting out of bed.
Out of habit, my hand went down to my side, searching for my phone. But all I could feel was air.

Since I had only just woken up, my brain was all confused. I started thinking that it was another day as Taki. But when I got up, that's whe  reality hit me.

We moved. How could I forget that? It's crazy. Stupid brain.

After getting in my new school uniform, I walked into the kitchen and started to make breakfast.

"Granny, Yotsuha, I made breakfast!" I shouted.
Yotsuha came in with bags under her eyes and yawning.
"Mitsuha, do you know where Granny is?"
"No, why? What?"
"I checked and she's not here."
"WHAT? I can't see a note? She probably went out for groceries or something, we are running low. I'll try call her and text her, eat your breakfast, our train to school leaves soon."
"Ok."

I looked at the letter that said what school we were going to and was surprised. Taki's school?
I can't believe it.
I guess fate is completely on our side this time. I texted him as soon as he gave me his number but I was sure he would be to busy to actually meet up with me.

I can now see why we need the train....
I was running for ages yesterday, lucky I left quite early. It was an exhausting run but I'm good at running so it wasn't as bad as it could of been.
