Re-Written/Chapter 4

My date with Taki was wonderful and just so much fun. I always expected dates to be awkward or something. But it wasn't. Probably because we knew each other like we knew ourselves...
That might be it.

Yotsuha seemed to be asleep already. My brain was exhausted so I went to sleep really quickly, not even thinking about the fact the Granny still wasn't home.

My alarm literally shocked me awake. It's never been so loud before ugh. I sat up and then realised.
This wasn't my body.

So we're swapping again? I was kind of hoping that was over now.
I was pretty sure the whole purpose of it was so he could save us all from the comet?
Maybe the universe is messing with us.
This can't go on forever.

"Taki, it was your turn to make breakfast! You promised last night since you went out and didn't cook dinner." His dad shouted.

"Sorry daddy. I'll make you special pancakes one day!" I said while giving him a hug. My attitude shocked him.
"So...you're acting like that again..huh? Just don't be late for school."
Grabbing a cereal bar, I ran to catch the train. I need to talk to Taki. I got on the train to school kind of excited. That excitement doesn't last longer than five minutes.

"Waterfall!" I whispered into 'my' ear.
"Huh?"
"Taki means Waterfall, idiot."
"Looks like we're back to this."
"Seems so. Don't you dare make a reputation for me on my second day of school."
"Hm. We'll see."
"You guys are saying confusing things. What do you have your own code or something?" Yotsuha whined while getting off the train.
"Hey..ummm Mitsuha...there was a message left on your home's answering machine.''
"From who?"
"One from the creep."
"Creep?"
"Yeah your Gran is a creep she gave me nightmares after she said 'Mitsuha, you're dreamin' right now, aren't chu?' "
"I'm sure she didn't say chu, Pikachu drives her mad. Anyway, this is getting off topic, what did she say???"
"But i like Pikachu! I recorded the message on your phone, listen."

"Mitsuha or Boy, Yotsuha, this is Gran. As you probably realised I haven't been there since the night we moved. I didn't have much for this call so it won't be that long talking. This nice person is helping me make this call. I'm ok... for now. I'm going to....."

"And that is it." Taki said with a worried expression on my face. Or technically his face. Or what? I'm confused now.
"BUT WHERE IS SHE GOING!?"
Everyone turned in my direction and I whispered a sorry.
"I don't know!"
"I wish she didn't blather on about a person helping her make the call. She could of told us that later. I can't take complete care of Yotsuha, I'm only seventeen."
"It's ok Miyamizu, I already worked that out. I'll ask my dad if you and Yotsuha can stay with us for a bit. We will try find your Gran."
"Thank you Taki, I don't know what I would do without you!" I cried.
"I'll call Yotsuha, Taki can I have my phone!?"
'He' nodded and passed it to me.

Yotsuha!
Hi? Is this Taki?
Oh of course. I'm in his place right now
Why are you using Mitsuha's phone?
Um she thought I should tell you that you and her are going to be staying with me and my dad for a while.
Why?
Because your Gran isn't back yet
Ok cool. Wait did you say she's not back?
Yeah, I'm going to help you find her. Look it'll be okay.
Yep, I'm fine

That was very kind of him to let us stay but what will I do about Gran?
Guess I'll have to see what his dad suggests
