My daughter crossed her arms over her chest when she noticed that I paused in telling my story. "Mommy! What's the meaning of Peculiars? Is there really a place called Peculiaris? Then where is it mommy?" She consecutively asked which made her catched her breath.

I pinched her chubby cheeks and tucked the hair that was blocking her right eyes to her ears. "Peculiars means unusual or beyond normal things Sharika. And there's really a place called Peculiaris."

I stopped for a while as I remembered how on Earth I end up being in a place like that.

It still made my heart thumped whenever those experiences popped in my mind. "Kaya nga naikekwento ko sayo lahat diba?"

"You've got to be kidding me Mandy." I muttered, not allowing myself to be heard by these people.

Mandy came closer to me to the point that our shoulders were touching each other. "So do you think we're still making fun of you?," she whispered not totally opening her mouth and without moving her head.

I glanced at the big clock once again and as well with my wristwatch.

How come this is happening?

Paano kung hindi na ako makabalik sa amin?

My head ached when I sense that my brain was squeezed because of so many thoughts that keeps bothering me.

Peculiaris? Is there a place like that?

What I only knew was that there's Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao in the Philippines and its composed of different regions and provinces but never in my whole existence I heard a site like that.

I was stroke with surprise when I heard a sound of shattered glass in front of Tamara who is beside Angelica.

Frank, the furry guy was the one who did that.

His brown furs looked more terrifying because some of his veins appeared and literally, his ears were fuming.

Oh this can't be.

He's furious.

"We can't force him to eat with us. Hayaan niyo siya kung anong gusto niya," he said, still gripping some of the broken pieces in his large hairy hand.

Maybe there aren't still done with the missing guy.

Sino ba talaga siya para magkaroon ng ganitong pagkakagulo?

"But he needs to eat. It's his third day not having his meal Frank," Angelica retorted looking a bit anxious.

"Kung gutom siya, then he should be here with us," Frank answered back, calmer than a while ago.

Okay. That was a relief actually. The tension between each one of them was slowly ceasing.

We all turned into a gray door engraved with some distort images as we heard a deafening bang from it allowing one of a picture frames above it fell on the ground.

My whole body started to tremble again and I felt like my blood was all sucked outside my body when a man with an army cut hair went outside the room.

He has a pale white skin and his eyes — I mean eye, he has only one grayish eye in his forehead and it was fiery.

Am I seeing a cyclops?

Or maybe he looks like a cyclops but he's not a real cyclops.

This is maybe the guy that they are all talking about.

As his steps grew closer and closer to the free chair, my heart was continuously shrinking. All I want was to escape from this house yet I'm stiffened and glued in my seat.
