"Okay, that's it for today."

My daughter frowned and crossed her arms over her chest. "Mommy continue please," she insisted with her adorable voice.

Seriously, this kid never failed to melt my heart.

"Okay. I surrender. Last part okay? Anong oras na din. After this, we're done," I said which made her go back to her previous position and nodded vigorously.

"What do you mean 'for now' Mandy?," tanong ko pagkadating na pagkadating namin sa kwarto ko.

"Wala 'yon. I have to go"

"No Mandy. You'll explain everything here. Sobrang daming gumugulo sa isip ko simula nang dumating kayo sa buhay ko."

I almost screamed because of my situation but I managed not to.

I just let myself sat on my bed with my eyes still fixed at her.

"This is bound to happen Shana."

"Pwede ba diretsahin mo na lang ako," I said weakly.

I am too exhausted to raise my voice and argue with her.

All I want is answers from these odd circumstances.

"You won't understand."

" Dahil hindi mo naman ipinapaintindi sa akin."

"Because this is not the right time."

"Then when is the right time?!"

I gave up.

I said I will not argue with her but she's pushing me to have one with her.

How will I understand everything if she just kept on changing the topic and giving answers undirectly.

Kaunti na lang mababaliw na talaga ako.

"Basta."

"Basta? Oh please Mandy! Alam mo kasalanan mo talaga 'to! If you didn't showed yourself in the first place, hindi naman ako mauuwi sa ganito!"

I'm expecting her to shout back at me but she didn't.

Nanatili lang siyang nakatayo sa harap ko at parang pinipigilan ang emosyon niya.

"I said everything was bound to happen. Kahit ano pang gawin ko at kahit ano pang gawin mo hindi mo na mapipigilan pa."

"Stop joking around Mandy. Hindi ako nakikipaglokohan sayo. As if you're saying that this is my destiny," I scoffed.

"You're right," tipid niyang sagot dahilan para mas lalong mag-init ang ulo ko.

Destiny? Come on.

Destiny my face!

I laughed mockingly. "Great. Just great. Mapaglaro talaga ang tadhana," I uttered and continued my laugh.

"I'm serious Shana!"

I stopped when anger etched on her face. This is my first time seeing her like this.

Napuno na rin ata siya dahil sa akin pero siya naman din ang may kasalanan!

"Well, it looks like you're not," I answered back which made her angrier.

"Why do I have to stay there forever?"

Her mad face was suddenly changed into a startled one.

"H-How did you know?," she asked, still surprised.

"You don't have to know. Just answer me."

"I can't."

She turned her back at me and faced the slightly opened window.
