A/N- Sorry, the format is gonna be a bit different from the first chapter cause I'm lazy and Wattpad doesn't like the tab button/key apparently...And I'm copying it from a different thing soo the spacing is weird. But you'll learn to deal with it just like me. ~7275lula

The first days of summer were finally here.

I pulled a red tee on with denim jeans shorts. Pretty standard. I just quickly ran a brush through my hair because it was too short to do anything with really. But that's how I liked it. I think to myself as I run down the stairs, something I was definitely not supposed to do. I was not a peppy cheerleader girl. Thinking about myself being one makes me want to throw up.

Yuck.

I was a tom-boy. Yes, that was for certain. If someone told me otherwise, I'd be shocked. I preferred to hang out with boys more with the exception of Nat because she wasn't a peppy girl.

By the time the train of thought had finished, I was already on my old but trusty skateboard and halfway to the Neverland Hideout, per what we agreed to. I veered off the path to the Hideout, just so I could grab a box of donuts for the gang. As I got there, I wasn't a bit surprised that Jax was already there, lounging on a beanbag.

He was doing something on his phone, probably playing a game, when I walked in but after noticing that I came with food, he quickly put it down. "Is that all for me?" He teased me, "How thoughtful."

I slapped away his hand as I placed the box down in the middle of the beanbag ring. "Start with one, there are others who want to eat," I said to him, watching him. He smirked and took one, looking up at me.

I looked back down at the box and it takes me a couple of seconds to realize that instead of the one donut like I had said, he took two. I scowled at him. "You scoundrel," I said to him but it didn't dampen his mood in the slightest.

"Whatever. You know I'm your best friend." He said, eating the stolen donut.
I shrugged at him, "Who said that?"

By this time, Dex and Nat had come in. They each grabbed one donut.

I pointed to them. "See? They follow the rule of starting with one first!"

He shrugged. "They aren't me and I'm not them." He said this as if it explained the whole thing. "Besides, they aren't as sneaky as me either."

"Whatever, Jax. Just whatever." I said, growing tired of the argument. I leaned forward and swatted away Jax's hand when he tried to get another donut.

Nathan finally came in. He immediately flopped down on one of the beanbags and rushed to explain why he was later than usual. "Had to do my chores and then half of my sister's before I could come over."

I raised the hand that didn't have the donut in it and waved it, as if I was shooing the explanation away. "It's cool. You're here now, aren't you?" I asked even though I wasn't really asking.

Dex handed him the box and Nathan pulled one out.

I finally managed to grab one for myself and bit into it. Strawberry was the best! My attention then focused on Jax who was still trying to grab another one. I slapped his hand.

"Dang, Mamacita!" He overdramatically nursed his hand.

I rolled my eyes. "Never call me that again and you've already reached your limit of donuts, mister." I scolded him.

Nathan finally handed me the agenda and we ran through the procedures; vouching for the old meeting, old news, and the new news.

Soon after that, we adjourned the meeting and started talking about what we did the previous week when we had school. We laughed at the video of Jax's and I's dance-off which, for the record, I totally won even though Jax denied it.
