Mom was crying her eyeballs out.

I swear if Annabeth hadn't been there, she would've gone blind from the loss of her eyeballs.

"That makes no sense seaweed brain." Annabeth laughed.

"What? You can read minds now?!?"

Annabeth looked at me.

"How the Hades did you get into this school?" She asked. "You said that aloud."

"Whoopsie daisies." I reply.

"Such a seaweed brain." She shook her head.

She pulled into the airport.

"So where is this college?"

"Uhhh..." Annabeth glanced somewhere. "New Rome." She replied.

"Where is new Rome?"

"Percy stop making things difficult!" She sighed.

I gave her a pointed look.

"Seaweed brain." She muttered.

"Wise girl."

"Switch with me? You've been driving for hours!" I say.

"It's been 15 minutes!" Annabeth complained.

"Pleassseeeeee?" I gave her my famous baby seal eyes.

She groaned and swerved to the side of the road.

"Oh lookie there." I say.

Annabeth, who was now standing outside the passenger side door next to me, looked over her shoulder.

"Mhm... what a ni-"

I tackled her and pushed her into the water, jumping in after her.

She surfaced.

"PERUSES JACKSON!" She shouted.

I swam up to her and enclosed her in an embrace.

I kissed her, and she kissed back.

After a moment, she pulled away.

"Annnieee." I complained.

"I love you seaweed brain." She whispered.

I smiled.

"Love you too wise girl."

HAHA!
