The Search For The Solis Magnolia

Poppys POV
The other trolls met me at the gate at the ordered time and I looked at them. "You ready?" I asked and they nodded. "Then lets go." We began to walk to the area the two trolls behind me said that the flower would be. "Queen Poppy?" I heard one of the trolls ask. "Yes?" I replied. "What happened when you saw Branch after he ran off?" I looked at him when he asked then sighed. "Well.....he wasnt in a good way but....I guess I can tell you." I said and sighed again.

Flashback

Poppys POV
"Branch!!!! Branch where are you?!" I shouted out as I looked around before my eyes locked on a familiar form. "Branch!" I shouted out with a happy voice. I ran to him with a smile but stopped when I saw him up close. I looked at him and saw the tips of his hair were black and that some parts of his body were grey. "Branch....." I gasped sadly with wide eyes. He turned his head towards me and I saw his eyes were no longer a gorgeous midnight blue, they were now a silver colour. "You should leave Poppy......before I snap and do something that I will regret." He said as tears rolled down his face. "No Branch. Im not going to leave." I said firmly but had a sympathetic look on my face and walk up to him. I watched him gulp and back away. I shot out my hair and held him still. As I reached him, I let him go and wrapped my arms around him with a hug. I sadly didnt receive a hug back, just tears falling on my shoulder. I pulled back and wiped away his tears then smiled at him and caressed his cheek. He looked at me then the ground. "Look, Poppy im sorry I hurt you......." Branch said. "Branch. Look it was not your fault. You have a curse inside you called Midnight Abuse and it lasts for two years unless we find a type of plant called the Solis Magnolia that makes it last for an hour." I said and got a surprised look from Branch. "What do you mean? Are you gonna look for it?" He asked. I nodded at him but felt strong hands grab my arms. "No Poppy! Its to dangerous! I cant lose you! Please I beg of you, stay and let the curse last for the two years." I looked at him and frowned. "I dont care if its dangerous. Im finding that flower and bringing it back so I can heal you." I said then managed to get free of his strong hold. "Your not gonna go back on this......are you?" He asked me. I shook my head again but this time I felt Branches strong arms pull me in to a hug. "Poppy. Please be careful. I need you and I love you so much." I hugged back and smiled. "Dont worry Branch. I'll be fine. See you tomorrow." I said as I let go of the hug and kissed him on the cheek then turned around and went to get ready for the long trip.

End of flashback

"And thats the end of it....now cmon we havent got much time." I said as we ran off into the darkness of the forest. After an hour and a bit of running, we finally reached where the flower supposedly grew. "So.....where is it?" I asked as I looked around. After a while of looking around, my eyes set on a beautiful glowing purple and yellow flower. "Is that it??" I asked as the two other trolls stood next to me. "Yes it is." I smiled as they said that and ran towards it. I ran up to the flower and just as I was about to grab it I was thrown into a tree and looked up to see a three headed snake. I gasped as I looked up at it. "Queen Poppy!!" The goggled trolls yelled in unison. "Dont worry about me. Get the flower I'll distract it!!!" I yelled out and turned my attention to the giant monster snake in front of me as they ran to the flower. I threw rocks at it and a sharp stick I found next to me on the ground and it penetrated the one of the snakes heads, making it mad. "Uh oh." I said with wide eyes and turned and ran. I looked back and saw it chasing me. I was scared but slightly happy it chased me since it gave the others more time to get the flower. I ran through trees and did loopy loops around large rocks. After a while of running, I stopped and saw that the snake was stuck and tangled in between the trees and rocks. I smiled and turned around to see that one of the snake heads teeth had blood on it. I looked at my arm and back to see that there was a large gash running across it. I looked up at the monster then turned and ran back to the flower and the others. As I arrived, I felt my sweat touch my wounds and gasped in pain. "Your highness! Are you ok??" I was asked. "Y-Yeah im ok just slightly wounded from when I lured the beast away. But none of that. Did you get the flower?" I asked and they nodded and held it up. I smiled widely. "Then lets go!" I yelled out and turned to run back. "Queen Poppy....your back....." I stopped and looked at them. "Thats the least of my concern. We need to get this flower back home so we can heal Branch." I said firmly and gave them a look. They nodded and we ran off towards home. Our mission is complete. You will soon be back to your old self my dear king.

Yay! They found the plant! Now Branch can be healed. But Poppy is hurt.......lets hope that this will all be fine. But anyways until next time BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
