Healing Branch

Branches POV
I hope Poppys ok. I thought she would never come back. The journey she went to get a magical flower that will help me...... that will stop the curse in an hour. I looked at my body and saw that I was more grey than before Poppy left. I sighed and looked up at the sky. "Branch!" A voice that I love shouted out. I turned around and saw Poppy but gasped when I saw her. "P-Poppy your....your hurt..." I said and ran up to her and hugged her, only hearing a pained gasp. I let go. "Poppy im sorry did I hurt you!?" I said sadly and worriedly. "N-No Branch. You didn't. Its just what happened when I distracted a beast while the two trolls that came with me got the flower....." She replied and winced. "What happened then?" I asked. She turned around and I gasped as my eyes set on her back. "Poppy......" I said as tears formed in my eyes. "The beast that got me was a giant three headed snake. Just as I got it stuck in between rocks and trees, one of the heads reached out then slashed my back with its teeth as I turned around. But dont worry.....I'll be ok." She said with a reassuring voice at the end. "No Poppy your not ok. Thats a deep would and-" I was cut off when I felt pain in my arms and saw that spikes showed up on them. I began to growl and pant in anger. I felt extremely tense until I felt two hands smaller than mine gently massaging my shoulders. I looked in front of me and saw Poppy standing a few centimetres away from me. "Easy Branch.....Easy...." Poppy said calmly, instantly making me settle down. "When we get you healed up and not have the curse anymore, we can fix up my injuries. Ok?" Poppy said. "O-Ok. Lets go." I said as we walked to the hospital and stopped as Poppy said her goodbyes to the two trolls that helped her. They gave Poppy the flower and waved goodbye as they left. We walked inside the hospital and went to the receptionist. "We would like to have two appointments at the same time please...." Poppy said with a pained voice. "Two at the same time?" The receptionist asked and tilted her head. "Yes. We are healing a curse I have called the Midnight Abuse and my wife, Queen Poppys wound." I said hurriedly. "I understand. We will get you two a couple of doctors now. Please sit down." The receptionist said. I nodded and helped Poppy sit down on the seat because of the pain shes in right now. After a while, we were finally called in. Poppy picked up the flower and we followed the doctors. We were taken into a room and I sat on a seat and Poppy sat on the hospital bed. "Thats a serious injury your highness. How did it happen?" The doctor asked. "A three headed snake showed up when we were getting the flower to heal Branch. I distracted it so the others could dig it up and got it stuck. But in return *winces* one of the snakes heads scraped a sharp tooth across my back as I turned around." Poppy said. "We need to get that wound clean and stitched up." I looked at the doctor. "How long will that take?" Poppy asked. "Well by the size and type of injury. I would say an hour and a half since we need to stitch up some muscles to." Poppy nodded but I was worried. "Queen Poppy. We need to take you to an emergency room to get that fixed since what we need is in there." Poppy hopped off the bed and winced when she landed. She walked up to me and kissed me on the cheek. "It'll be ok Branchie. See you later." She said and turned around, showing the wound, making me tear up. "Ok King Branch im going to crush up this flower, making it able to fully show its magical healing properties." I nodded and watched as he began to pull the petals off and place them in a bowl then crush them. I could smell the flowers and saw the bowl glow. The doctor reached over to a cup and filled it with water. He then reached over to the crushed flower petals and tip them in to the cup then walked to me. "It may taste awful, but its the only thing that will heal you...." The doctor said. "I will do anything to end this." I said. The doctor handed me the cup and stopped me before I put it up to my mouth. "You will pass out for the hours recovery." I looked at him and nodded. "Ok." I said and took a sip. I then began to feel dizzy as my vision went darker and darker before I fell in to a long slumber.

One hour later

I woke up with a small headache and sat up to see that I was on a hospital bed. I sat up and rubbed my head and groaned. "Ow my head." I said with a croaky voice. "Ah King Branch. Your up." The doctor said and walked over to me. "How do you feel?" He asked. "My head is a bit sore, but I dont feel uncomfortable and my hands dont burn." I said. The doctor looked at me. "The sore head is normal, and the fact that the symptoms are gone means your fully healed." The doctor said with a large smile on his face. I returned the smile and held my head again. " Need some painkillers?" He asked. "Yeah that would be good." I said and leant back on the wall behind the bed. A few minutes later the doctor returned with some pills and water. As he reached the side of the bed he handed it to me. "Thank you." I said with a smile and drank the water with my pills. I immediately sat up with wide eyes. "Poppy! Is Poppy ok?!?" I asked worriedly. "Yes shes ok. She has just finished surgery." He said. I sighed in relief. "C-Can I see her please?" I asked, hoping that he will say yes. "Of course your highness. Follow me but take it easy." He said and I nodded as I slowly got off the bed and was stabilized by the doctor so I can stand straight. I followed the doctor to emergency room, then being let in. I saw Poppy asleep on the bed with bandages around her back. "How is she?" I asked with a sad face. "She's ok. She will wake up any minute. I walked up to her and sat on a chair next to the bed and held her hand and looked at her. "Please wake up soon...." Were my last words before I fell asleep.

3 Minutes Later

I was woken up by the feeling of a hand stroking my cheek. I looked up and saw Poppy looking at me and smiling. I smiled widely and stood up hugging her and kissing her. "Im so glad your ok Pops." I said happily. "The same back to you Branchie. Is the curse gone?" Poppy asked and tilted her head at the last word of her sentence. I nodded and continued to smile. "The symptoms are all gone meaning my hands don't burn and I don't feel uncomfortable and I feel calm." I said. "That's great Branch. Im so happy for you." Poppy said happily. I heard the door open and saw a doctor walking up to us. "Queen Poppy, your awake. How do you feel?" The doctor asked. "Well im less sore in my back than before." Poppy told the doctor. The doctor nodded. "When your ready you can go, just take painkillers with you when you leave." Poppy nodded. "I feel good to go." She said. I smiled and the doctor did as well as he went to a cupboard and pulled out a box of pills. "Here you go your highness. Take two a day, one in the morning and one at night." Poppy took the box and nodded as I helped her out of bed and we walked home. "Even though we were there for a short amount of time, it feels good to be out and going home." Poppy said as she hugged me. "Yeah, and it feels so good that the curse is gone and that your ok." I said and we smiled at each other. "Oh Branch, by the way..." Poppy said and I gave her a confused look. "No...." I said. "ITS PARTY TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Poppy said out loud making me laugh and cover my ears. "Ok. Ok. Just calm down Pops." I said with a chuckle. She smiled as I opened the door and we walked to our room, getting dressed in to our pjs and Poppy took her pill then we went to bed.

Well everything is back to order. And of course. Poppy wants to celebrate with a huge party. I bet there will be a lot of singing, dancing and wait for it....GLITTER!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!! But *ahem* anyways until next time BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
