Kazuichi has been your best friend for as long as you can remember. You've spent practically every waking moment with the brightly coloured mechanic at your side and you can't remember going a single day without talking to him.

Naturally, your hopeless self managed to develop feelings for him. I mean, it's not exactly hard, is it? He's charming in his own odd kinda way; you can't help but admire his cute little quirks most people don't pick up on: the way he runs his hand through his hair when he's confused, the way he sticks his tongue out slightly when he's concentrating on something that's particularly tricky to fix, even the way he grins at you when you catch his eye in class.

You've been in love with him since you were a little kid, but your feelings only grew when the two of you entered Hope's Peak.

There's only one problem, and she goes by the name Sonia Nevermind.

He was enchanted by her immediately, and honestly? You couldn't blame him. She's kind, smart, funny and above all, beautiful. Hell, even you have a tiny crush on her.

She's perfect. Practically everything you're not.

And lately, it's been getting to you worse than ever.

All of your conversations with the mechanic have been Sonia this or Sonia that. You try not to let it bother you but ... you can't help it.

You don't want your own feelings to get in the way of Kazuichi's happiness, so a while ago, you began playing along. For the past year, you've been quietly trying to pair them up as a couple.

You don't really think Kaz has ever noticed, in all honesty.

A few days ago, you were met with another huge problem.

It had been a couple hours since classes finished when Sonia had approached you in the library, a nervous smile on her face. You'd returned the smile as she sat across from you.

"I must speak with you. It's of the upmost urgency and i didn't know who else I could come to."

That had piqued your interest, so you pulled your eyes away from the book you were reading to be met with a surprisingly intense stare from Sonia, her pale blue eyes practically burning into you. Nodding for her to continue, her gaze faltered slightly as she sighed sadly.

"It's about Kazuichi and his ... feelings for me."

"I did not know who else I could approach regarding this issue, but I understand the two of you are good friends, are you not?"

Swallowing nervously, you nodded your head again as the Princess's shoulders deflated slightly.

"I do not return them. I didn't know how to bring this up with him without upsetting him, and i apologise if this is a cruel way of going around it, but if you are able, I would like to ask if you could get him to ... stop? For a while now, I'd say about a year he's been ... much worse and it's making me rather uncomfortable. I'd appreciate some aid from you if that's okay?"
