*Two day time skip*
I've been singing and dancing non stop to prepare for my audition. And then the day finally came.
"Today is the dayyyy.." I prance into Taylor's bedroom. "I've been waiting foreverrrr!!!"
She looks up at me from her phone. "Yeah, but it is not the first day of August, 1893."
I dramatically flop on her bed. "Alas, it is not. But it's AUDITION DAY!!!"
"Yes, Victoria, it is. And why are you already dressed when your audition is not for another 7 hours?"
Taylor examines my black leggings, gray Nike t shirt, and tennis shoes.
"Because I'm EXCITED! I took off work just for this!" I shout in her face, causing her to swat me away.
I work at a Starbucks down the block from Taylor and I's apartment and I HATE it. I really hope I get into the ensemble so I can quit that annoying job.
Taylor glances up from her phone again. "You do look cute though."
I jump up from her bed. "Thanks!!! Now I'm going to take a million years in the bathroom to shower and my hair and makeup so pee now if you must!"
Taylor groans and gets up from the bed. "I'm taking a shower." She grabs her caddy from her dresser and heads out of the room.
"Be quick!" I call after her.
"I will!" She says back.
I hear the water turn on and flop back down onto her bed. My phone dings with an Instagram update: Tuck posted the principle roles. I open up my phone. These could be my co-workers!
