AN: Happy Wednesday! In the 'Safe' universe, we're at the start of the holiday season! It's pretty crazy that this section on the story is starting on chapter 25, or the day of Christmas! I hope you guys enjoy this part. Feel free to leave a comment letting me know what you think, and telling me what you would like to see happen in this story!

Christmas was a busy time for the Vlog Squad, and because of this, they started filming Christmas content in the beginning of December.

As soon as everyone was home from their Thanksgiving trips, David was trying desperately to get everyone, including me, to his house to film some special christmas content. I was pretty surprised that he wanted me on his channel, considering I was a rare addition that got a fair amount of hate, but he insisted that I came.

So I found myself in a Target, extremely early in the morning, searching for something to wear. After a few minutes, I found something I deemed suitable and hurried to purchase it. I rushed out into the cool air and walked to the bus stop, where I waited patiently for the bus to come.

It dropped me off not too far from David's, and I walked the rest of the way, meaning I got to his house about 5 minutes before I was supposed to be there.

I walked right in (having been scolded before for knocking) and slipped into the bathroom to change. I slipped on my brand new reindeer sweater and checked myself over in the mirror before entering the living room, where everyone was sitting around waiting to film. An orange soda was thrust into my hand by Natalie, who I thanked.

We didn't wait for too much longer before David came out of his room in the same black ensemble he always wore. He didn't have to follow his own christmas sweater rule it seemed, and some of the guys were teasing him for it.

He stood at the middle of the room, and looked at all of us sipping our coffees (or in my case, soda).

"Might as well stay where you are," he shrugged, "It's on brand."

Joe stood, and began setting up cameras and lights, and before too long, we were shooting.

"So," David says dramatically, looking at the camera, "I have the whole Vlog Squad here, and we're going to play a little game today."

Natalie came shuffling in, carrying three buckets as he continued, "These are the 'content cups.' Everyone's name is in the red one, an action is in the white one, and an amount of money is in the green one." He gestures to the buckets before continuing. "If you complete the action drawn with your name, then I will donate the amount you draw from the green bucket to the charity of your choice in your name. Some of these require two people. If thats the case, then you are both able to draw on that turn. We will play until there's no names left. Understood?"

Joe pans the camera across the room and we all nod in agreement.

I press my back against the couch harder, and run my fingers through my dogs fur as David turns back to the camera.

"Well then, let's get started." He reaches into the red container, and pulls out a slip of paper. He unfolds it, and reads, "Carly!" He brings the white bucket to her and lets her draw, and she hands him back the sheet of paper. "Has to call their parents," he pauses and looks at the camera, "And tell them they are pregnant, or got someone else pregnant."

Carly begins to blush as the room erupts in laughter. She pulls out her phone and calls her mother on speaker phone, "Mom," she says when her mother answers, "I'm pregnant." Her mom becomes almost incoherent due to the speed at which she's talking, and Carly answers some of her questions before promising to call her back later and explain. She chooses to donate the $5,000 to habitat for humanity.

And everything continues as such. Heath dresses up as sexy Santa and walks the street, Matt takes a shot of hot sauce, Todd and Jonah have a fistfight (it was an incredibly unfair pairing), and Mariah has to give Jason a lap dance.

It was all good fun until David drew my name out of the bucket. "Ellie!" he cheered, walking over to me to allow me to draw an action. I do, and hand it to him, "makes out with..." he pauses long enough to draw another name from the cup, he reads it and lets out an awkward laugh, "David!"

My heart stops for a moment, and my cheeks tinge pink. Every eye in the room falls on us as the room is silent, and I can feel Scott's eyes burning a hole in the back of my head. I let out a slow breath as I hold out a hand, signaling David to help me up from where I was sitting on the floor.

He helps me up, and I grab a fistful of the front of his shirt, pulling his face down to me. His hands fall to my waist as our lips meet. I allow him to take the lead, as he moves his mouth on mine. It doesn't feel wrong to make out with him, but it certainly doesn't feel right either. Our lips move in unison for a few more seconds before I break the kiss and the room erupts in hoots and hollers from our friends. They went wild as I sunk back to my spot on the floor, hiding my face in my hands as David went to get the final bucket. I drew $2,500, which I decided to donate to the Coalition for the homeless.

The game continued, but I had a difficult time concentrating on everyone else playing. All I could think about was Scott. I could feel his eyes on me still, but I could also tell he was upset. As I continued to stroke Rex, I realized something that I really wished I hadn't. I didn't really mind kissing David, I had kissed a few boys before him. That wasn't the problem.

The problem was: I would much rather it have been Scott.

AN: Uh oh. What do you think Scott is feeling right now? What do you think will happen next?
