(This is continued from the first chapter).
You jolted awake, stirring from your current dream.
'It was just a dream', you thought, taking in your surroundings to reassure yourself. You started breathing a little slower trying to catch your breath.'That felt so real... was I really dreaming', you thought. The reality of your dream was so strong, you just couldnt grasp the fact that life for you had changed. Everything about your life now just felt so.....wrong. You had gotten so used to the way you used to live, that your new life felt out of place and alien to you now. You sat up and stretched, reliving yourself of the stiffness in your joints. You slowly got out of bed and headed towards the bathroom. You were really sweaty, so you decided on taking a bath to rid yourself of the smell and maybe regain you peace of mind.
You removed your clothing and threw them into the laundry hamper. You slowly slid yourself into the tub and released all your anxieties as you slowly sank deeper into the water. You felt so much better and the auroma that arose from the bubbles made you feel much more relaxed. For once in a very long time, you actually felt a small sense of pleasure.
That pleasure was soon cut short,however, when you heard a scream come from your next door neighbor and friend, Lucy Heartfillia. You rolled your eyes, for this was just a typical thing you would expect from Lucy.
'It was probably Lucy freaking out over a bug or something', you thought. You laughed as you thought about Lucy freaking out over a bug. You closed your eyes and continued on with your bath. About 5 minutea after Lucy screamed, you started hearing 2 completely different voices.
'When did Lucy invite guests?', you thought as you listened to the voices.
You were confused as to who the voices belonged to. You leaned your ear closer to the wall behind you and decided to listen in on who Lucy's visitors were.
"What do you two want!?", you heard Lucy yell, obviously agitated.
One of the visitors laughed. "We just wanted to see our favorite celestial wizard is all! Aint that right Happy?"
You blinked. 'What kind of name is Happy for an guy? Unless its a nickname or something, but still!' You returned your attention back to their conversation. The other person soon began to speak.
"Aye! And Lucy,I thought you liked us! Don't friends invite friends into other friends homes?"
What was up with that guys voice?, you thought to yourself. He sounded more like a child instead of a adult. And now that you thought about it, that name did sound familiar to you. But where did you hear it come from?
You returned your focus back to the wall. Lucy sighed.
"I do like you, but you keep barging into my house unannounced! At least warn me before you come, okay?", she said, eyeing both of the two men. You then heard the two visitors agree in a burst of happiness. Youstopped listening at that point and made your way out of the tub. You grabbed your towel, dried yourself off and put on you favorite outfit, which consisted of a [F/C] tank top,a[F/C] skinny jeans, black high tops and a white jacket. After you got dressed, you went into the kitchen and made yourself breakfast.
You finished eating and left your apartment. As you walked up the hall, you stopped infront of Lucy's door. From the silence of her home, you figured her guest had left.
