"Stop it" she tried to hide a smile. I poked her again and she grabbed my wrist and made me poke myself "you're so annoying, what do you want?"

"Guess" I said

"You've been fed, watered-"

"I'm not a plant"

"Hydrated, snuggled, watched a movie... what else do you want?"

"Why do you hate cuddling me?" I whined and straddled her lap, her hands carefully found their way from my shoulders to my hips

"I don't hate cuddling you, I love it"

"Then why aren't you doing it now?"

"I am" she said and dropped what she was doing to give me a hug

"Also stop putting pyjamas on to sleep, it's disturbing"

"No, why is that disturbing?"

"How can you sleep with clothes on?"

"How can you sleep with no clothes on? You're just lying there naked, it's weird" she said and tickled my neck, making me squeal and flinch "that's a bit of an overreaction don't you think?"

"No"

"No?" She laughed and kissed my shoulder "baby, I've been looking at more houses for us"

"Where?"

"Around the city, then I started thinking about houses in the city, like a townhouse"

"But I thought we were moving away from it all so you can relax and take your mind off work?"

"I know, but you know the company's doing so well right now, my shares are doing amazingly and it's important that I work a lot to keep it up"

"But-"

"Princess, don't be upset with me" she cut me off and I grumbled into her shoulder "are you mad?"

"No"

"Yes you are" she said and I kissed her jaw "if you're not mad then you're sad, why are you sad?"

"I'm not even sad, I wanna just be with you"

"And you can princess" she said "I'm sad now, I feel like we don't want the same thing"

"I'll be happy with whatever, I'm just worried about you. When you get stressed with work you get really nasty and mean and you don't like anything I do, I just feel like it'll be bad if you associate home with work too much"

"I won't princess, don't worry about a thing"

"But I will, I want you to have fun too"

"I know" she stroked my hair and kissed the top of my head "I have to wake up early tomorrow, I have an important meeting I have to prepare for"

"Does that mean I have to go to work on my own?"

"No, don't worry babe. I'll just be doing some extra work in my office" she said

"Wake me up too, I wanna keep you company"

"No, you need your rest" she said

"No, I wanna wake up with you!"

"I'll just be downstairs in my office princess, don't worry"

"You suck" I grumbled "I'll wake up to your alarm then"

"You know you never do" she chuckled and turned the lights off "goodnight"

"That sounded mean"

"Goodnight baby, I love you"
