"It wasn't a car" was the first thing I heard after waking up.

Groaning I tried to get up only for a hand to gently push me back down where I was laying on the couch.

"Hey sweetie it's okay I'm glad your finally awake" Joyce whispered as a way to soothe me

Looking up I saw hopper and Joyce hovering near me with worried looks plastered on there face

"What did you last remember kid" hopper spoke as he helped me sit up

"Um there was this weird guy and he was fighting and I-I tried to stop him" I stammered trying to piece together the broken memories

All of a sudden hopper walked out the house after kissing my head and made his way towards his car.

"I want you to go back to the kids and stay with them okay don't go getting in more trouble we have this under control" hopper demanded as he finally walked out with Joyce strolling behind curiously.

Sighing I laid back down on the couch as the engine started up looking at the discarded note on the floor written by el yesterday.

"I have an idea boys only" Mike said as I finally found them after going Mrs Wheeler told me where they are.

"Guys what's going on" I said as max and el leaned against a door with pissed of expressions looking in my direction

"Ted" el expressed as she ran over and hugged me

"What happened to your face where have you been " she panicked holding onto my chin noticing the bruises that littered my face moving it into different positions.

"Come on will fill you in" max said grabbing both our arms dragging us into the opposite direction as to where the boys went.

Walking into a storage room i saw the dummy laying on the second shelf

Picking it up I went to leave when a voice behind me suddenly stopped my movement

"Hey I found the breaker's woah that thing is supper creepy, I think this will work right buddy 'right Mike'" he used a voice as he got the dummy to 'speak'

Smiling slightly I grabbed the dummy back and started to walk out when the voice stopped me again.

"Hey Ted I just wanted to say you know when I said nana was sick she wasn't and I lied and I think it's important for you to know the context Your dad he went all crazy on me telling me I'm spending way to much time with you he made me lie and I mean your the most important thing in the world to me I would never want to hurt you" Mike confessed while moving his hands around

"Okay yeah but maybe hop could be right you know" I suggested teasing him

"What" he asked bewildered
