I sit up in my bed and look over expecting to see James but am sadly disappointed.
In his place instead I find a note with me name on it. Opening it curiously I read what he has written.
CLASSY,
Good morning beautiful. Gone up to the breakfast bar, didn't want to wake you, come up when you are ready, dress comfortably. I have a busy day planned for us, just remember to bring a hat. We don't want you looking like a little tomato now do we? Happy 1 year anniversary Candice! -JDress comfortably? Where are we going? Nether the less I obliged. After taking a quick shower and brushing my teeth, I opt for a pair of blue denim shorts that are slightly torn at the bottom with a loose, grey, cotton, v-neck t-shirt and matching grey Vans.
I step into the bathroom and tie my hair back off my face.
Judging by James note I will need a hat so I assume we will be outside a lot, I run back over to my suitcase and pull out my sunscreen there is no way this girl is getting sunburnt this weekend.
I spread the white cream over my face, neck, ears and let it soak in.
I head back to the bathroom mirror where I add my SPF20 tinted moisturizer. I then apply a very thin line of eyeliner to my waterline and a small coat of mascara to my lashes.
I quickly redo my hair into a simple ponytail letting my side fringe fall out.
I then walk back into our room where I see James Dodgers Cap. Wants me to where a hat, hey? I'll wear his.
I pull my ponytail through the back and adjust my fringe.
Picking up my black handbag I also put some earnings in and slide on my watch.
I finally apply a layer of lip balm and grab my room key.
I decide to take the stairs up to the breakfast bar. It is only two levels above ours, so taking the elevator just seems like a stupid idea. While I walk on the stairs I think about where James is taking me. I don't have a clue. I think back to his note addressed to Classy, it had no clues as to wear we might be going other than it would be outside.
Classy (pronounced cl-ar-sy or cl-ass-y), yes that is what I get called by James. You see my mom had a thing for being indecisive, so when it came time to naming me she couldn't chose one name. She finally decided on Candice but refused to have a child with no middle name or in my case names. Most people know me as Candice Young but Candice Lauren Anna Sophia Scarlett Young is my full name. Is it even legal to have a name that long? Apparently yes.
I had never really considered what my initials spelt but James pointed it out one day and it kind of stuck. When I first told my dad about it he couldn't look at me and keep a straight face for three hours. He had said that that sounded like something my mom would do (find a way to add another word into my name)
Sliding into the chair across from James he looks up from his phone and smiles, slipping it into his pocket.
"Four things," he says holding up four fingers, "Firstly, good morning." He holds up his index finger as to signify the number one, he holds up another finger "Secondly, you look beautiful. " I blush at that one.
"Thirdly, I wonder where I might have seen that hat before?" He comments on noticing me wearing his hat, now holding up three fingers.
"And lastly, I orded you the pancakes because I know their your favorite and I am telling you now that they come with cream, icecream, berries, banana and syrup but I also ordered you bacon to go with it so you can't tell me you won't enjoy your breakfast because I know you love it. Oh and i got you orange and guava juice."
