"I am sorry?! That was the first thing he said after you kissed him!" Chloe said as she jumped on my bed.
"Yes, we have been over this 50 times, tell me something I don't know Chloe" I replied.
"Ya, but I just don't get it, he asks you out, and is a total gentleman on the date and then runs off when you kiss him; that's so weird," Chloe says still jumping on my bed.
"Well, ya it is, he weird in general, maybe I shouldn't have kissed him, I freaked him out! How could I be so stupid? Also, get off my bed" I said as I went over the events of last night realizing that I had blown my first real date in a long time.
"Look it's not your fault and if you want I can talk to him and maybe knock some sense into him," Chloe said.
"No, No, No, you won't even go near him! Please promise me, Chloe, I don't want you to knock anything into him" I replied making sure Chloe doesn't talk to him.
"Okay, Okay I promise, anyways I gotta run to class, I'll catch you later, bye Beccs," She said closing the door behind her.
Luckily I didn't have class today so I just sat around all day doing nothing pretty much, but no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get him out of my mind. I hated feeling like this, so I tried to look him up on Instagram but I couldn't find anything, I mean nothing it was like he didn't exist, and neither did his sister. It was bizarre, I got that some people don't have Instagram but he wasn't on any social media, I mean how did the guy live? Deep into my stalker mode, I was frustrated that couldn't find anything about Gabrielle, so I looked up his old school the University of Agairo, but once again there was no, university of Agairo. I don't know if it was the humiliation of last night or the bottle of wine I had consumed since the morning but this stalker search had gotten really weird and alarming really. I didn't know anything about the guy I had kissed last night, he could be anyone and I wouldn't even know if he was telling the truth.
Chloe's POV
So I know that I promised Becca that I wouldn't talk to Gabrielle but nobody said anything about talking to his sister. I was walking to class ready to dance my problems away and there she was standing in front of the notice board looking at it like it was a painting. I made my way over to her, this was my opportunity, she was alone and I could ask her about her brother's behavior.
"Hey, what are you looking at?," I said making her jump a little, clearly I had caught her off guard.
"Nothing, just trying to figure out where my class is" She replied in her beautiful voice.
"Ohh, well you're not gonna find that here," I said.
"Yeah, well I'll be on my way then, I don't wanna be late" She replied.
"No, wait, I can show you where it is, what class are you in," I said in high pitched tone in an effort to try to make her wait.
"Oh, thank you, that would be great. I have to get to criminal justice 101" She replied very formally.
"Wow, that's cool," I said foolishly as we walked down the hallway.
"Yeah" She replied probably thinking how stupid I was.
"So how is your brother doing," I asked trying to find out more about him.
"He's good" She replied.
"That's good" I replied feeling so awkward, her answers were so short and vague.
"So, what do you think about him and Rubecca," I asked hoping she would spill some kind of tea.
