Jimin's POV

Past few months I had bonded with Emma and I took her as my sister. I knew something is not right. I have seen her face when taehyung went away last night and she was hurt, tears almost falling down.

"Okay we'll leave now?" namjoon hyung asked. We all were ready to attend the charity event. Tae was not at all acting like himself since yesterday night, he is just stoic and wouldn't talk or reply to anyone of us. It's like he is just there.

"You guys get going to the venue, I'll start in some 10 mins" I said.

"Why would you come later...we can all go together like always" Jin hyung said to me.

"I just feel my outfit is not fine for the event... I'll select something else and would come right behind you guys" I said.

"We can wait for you..go change" yoongi hyung said.

"Hyung why do you want to be late....I'll be right behind just start" I said trying my best not to sound suspicious.

"Fine we'll start but be quick...we have media there and we are going inside together....so by the time we reach there you should come" jhope hyung said but I hardly care about media rn.

"Okay hyung" I said and they all went away.

I reached the next door and knocked waiting for Emma to open the door. The moment she opened the door I was shocked. She is a mess. Her hair is messy and her eyes are red and they have small carry bags under them. Her face is still wet with the tears.

"Emma...are you okay?" I asked immediately. She just nodded.

"Okay listen whatever the shit is going on just tell me...I can't see tae and you like this anymore, just tell me what exactly happened and why on earth are you doing this" I asked irritated.

With that she just started crying fully almost falling on the floor. I immediately went and hugged her tight.

"Emma listen just tell me what it is and I'll find a way to solve whatever the problem is...why are you going away from him when you clearly like him" I asked still holding on to her.

"He'll go away once the contract is over" she said slowly still crying.

"What? Who told you so?why are you thinking all that nonsense?" I said slightly shocked at her thoughts.

"He likes yunhee. He'll leave me once the contract is over" she said and started crying again.

"Wait what? what are you even talking? Who told you that he likes yunhee?" I asked.

"She only said...she said that tae told he likes her and would go back to her once the contract is over and she also said he is just being nice to me so I won't cause any issues" she said with tears flowing down her cheeks.

"What shit is this? No he doesn't like her. When did she tell you all this?" I asked shocked.

"No jimin he likes her...she called me the day before grandma was coming and told me all this...she also told that tae said he'll be friends with her till then and once the contract ends he'll start dating her...I thought I'll ask tae that day but he told me he met yunhee and they are friends now and she was also calling him at late nights." she said.

"Okay wait...first of all tae likes you..fuck like..he literally loves although he didn't realise that yet...and yunhee? he was just friends with her and nothing more. Idc why she called and said all that shit but I know that he likes only you and not her" I said holding her by her shoulders and looking straight at her.

"Maybe he didn't tell you jimin...she sounded so confident and she even said he is hers" she said still not believing me.

"Idc about what she said Emma....he likes you and that's the fact...and if you are actually worried that he'll leave you after the contract ends, he tore the contract papers away, it doesn't exist anymore" I said firmly.

"What? Why did he do that?" She asked shocked.

"He said since both of you like each other, you guys wouldn't need the contract anymore and that's why he did that" I said.

"Then why did yunhee said that he likes her" she asked still trying to digest all that she heard rn.

"Because she likes him and she wants you to go away from him so that she can take tae" I said. I can't believe yunhee went to this length to get tae and she is not getting away with it.

"Where is tae...I need to tell him everything and how much I like him" she asked realising.

"He went to the charity event with the members and now we are going there, go change" I said to her.
