The Day That I Met You

Izuku Midoriya. The quirkless wonder boy. In a society made up of primarily of people born with these supernatural powers they call quirks, he was apart of the unlucky few selection without one. 80% of the world was born with these powers, or quirks, while the other 20% don't and are deemed as a disease. A plague. As if it's like the cheese touch. While most started treating him differently after that horrid doctor's visit, one didn't. Even his parents did.

His best friend Katsuki Bakugo didn't. Strange as he was gifted with a wonderful, ideal type of quirk. Explosions. He can create explosions from his nitroglycerin like sweat out of his palms. When his friend found out about this, instead of shunning him or constantly calling him names, hurting him etc. He instead brought it upon himself to protect his green haired best friend. Although at times that proved to be difficult as all the other kids wanted to do what beat the poor boy. Plus not to mention how reckless he can be.

Due to Izuku's unfortunate luck of being quirkless, he had soon gave up on his dream of being a hero with his best friend, Katsuki. However, as time passed by, he was able to figure out how smart he truly is. He would some times be found taking apart different things around his house, and put them back together, better than before. Sometimes just fixed, other times different than before. When Izuku figures out his new found talent at thinking and building, Katsuki was the first one to find out.

"Now I can help you be a hero!" the fluffy green haired boy says enthusiastically to his spiky blonde friend. The ruby eyed male grinned and nodded. "I'll be a hero for the both of us! And you can help!"

Four Years later when the two are 8

"Alright class. Today we are going to be learning about soulmates." the teacher spoke up after writing down 'Soulmates' on her chalkboard. "Does anybody know what a soulmate is?" she asked while turning towards the class of 8 year olds. At first nobody raised their hands which caused the teacher to sigh.

Not sure what she expected. They were eight. Anyways.

"Soulmates is someone that is picked for you by fate. Someone who is going to love you." she explained. Maybe not the best explanation, but what else should she explain it to a bunch of kids. "When you turn 10, you will have a streak of your soulmate's hair colour in your hair." she continues. "Miss!" someone said while raising their hand. "Yes?" she asked while looking at them. A yellow haired boy then continued. "What if you don't get one?" he asked. "Then you either don't have one, or your soulmate hasn't turned 10 yet." she explained. He nodded and let the lesson continue.

For the rest of the day, the teacher talked about different people, heroes, politicians, etc and their soulmates. They also learned the basic history of soulmates. At the end of the day, Katsuki and Izuku walked each other home. When Izuku walked inside, he set his bag in his room before going to find his mom.

"Mom! What's a soulmate?" he asked. "A soulmate?" she whispered, slightly shocked that her son was asking. He nodded enthusiastically. "It's someone who is supposed to love you." she answered bluntly. "Like Dada?" he asked innocently. "Yes. Although sometimes, soulmates don't love each other." she said, more quiet yet harsh at the end. "Oh." he muttered, deciding not to ask her any more.

He never brought up the topic again.

When it came time for Katsuki's 10th birthday, Izuku waited patiently outside his house, ready for the two to walk to school. He held his friend's gift in his left hand. Finally the blonde came out with a coloured streak in his hair. A brown one. "You got your streak Kacchan!" Izuku said happily. "Yeah! I bet they are just as cool as me!" he said proudly. Izuku just giggles at his friend's antics before shoving a present into his hands. Katsuki was about to open it, only for him to be stopped by Izuku.

"Nope! You have to wait until your party!" he said. Katsuki pouted but reluctantly put the present inside by giving it to his mom. The boys then walked to school with no problems for the entire day.

A couple months later, it was Izuku's birthday.

"Kacchan! I've got two colours!" Izuku said as Katsuki opens the door. Katsuki looked confused before looking at Izuku's hair to see his soulmate's streaks. A streak of black hair, and red hair. "So two..?" Katsuki asked in confusion. Izuku shrugged, happy that he had a soulmate anyways. Katsuki just shrugged it off, happy to see his best friend happy for the first time in a while.

Every since Izuku got his soulmate streaks, his bullying has gotten worse somehow. Constantly getting thrown down as his soulmates would never love a quirkless freak like him. Over time, he started to believe them. I mean, who would love a quirkless nobody?

When Izuku is 14 (before the entrance exam/beginning of his last year of middle school)

Izuku sighed as he walked into an old park. It was a Saturday yet nobody was at the park. Nobody ever really came to this park. Izuku and Katsuki used to when they were kids but they eventually stopped growing as they grew up. The green haired male kept walking before stopping at the edge of the woods next to the park. He slowly took a deep breath before walking into the woods, blank expression on his face.

With no intentions of leaving that forest.

When you turn 10, you get a streak of colour in you hair. That colour is the colour of your soulmate(s) natural hair colour.

His age isn't revealed canonly so he's gonna be 18 here

5'10 1/2 (he's gonna be tall so fight me)

He has his canon age and birthday

Katsuki Bakugo

5'8 (slightly shorter than canon height)

He has his canon age and birthday
