The morning after, Klaus and Hayley returned to New Orleans and for Luna to focus on her studies, and so she did everything she could to get back on track with the other students. Of course, Josie and Landon helped her all the way,

Thankfully, the winter break was in a few days and most of the students went to their homes with their families but some students like Landon, Rafael, and MG does not have a home so they stay in school and some teachers volunteer to take these students to a trip outside the states so they don't feel any different.

Dr. Saltzman decided this year to take the super squad to a road trip a special one for the squad and especially for Luna after what she's been through, the ones are going to this trip is, of course, Dr. Saltzman, the twins, Josie and Lizzie, Landon, Rafael, Kaleb, Jed, MG, Mr. Williams, Ms. Emma, and Luna,

Luna was supposed to join them the whole trip but her family back in New Orleans decided to make a family gathering for Christmas and Luna said she must go to the road trip for Dr. Saltzman's sake because he kinda made this whole trip for her, so she promised to get to New Orleans by Christmas Eve. Spending a couple of days with friends and favorite teachers would be fun.

The day of the trip came and in the morning everyone we're putting the bags in the van and of course, Kaleb and Jed start fighting about something that not necessarily deserves to fight about like about the van! "When I told Dr. S that we need to stay low and not take that wack ass Salvatore school van I did not expect him to choose a normal middle-class family van!" Kaleb said, "Why you always have a problem?" Jed asked, "Why you always stick your wolfy nose in something that is clearly not your business?" We need to go if we want to be on track of our plan" Luna said as she puts her bags in the van, "he's in his office" MG stated, "he wants you, Luna, he asks for you" Dorian said as he came from the school main door with his bags, Luna gave him a questioning look, "I know nothing you should go and check it out" He said, "okay Mr. Williams" Luna said then went jogging to his office,

She knocks on the door of Dr. Saltzman's office, "hey Dr. Saltzman?" Luna said as she enters, "hey Luna come sit down I want to talk to you about something" Alaric motioned her to sit down, "Is everything okay? We kinda need to go!" she said when she sat down, Alaric took a breath in, he seemed weird to Luna, "what?" she asked, "what's between you and Kai?" he finally asked. Luna could've lied but there are people she doesn't dare to lie to them because of how much they mean to her and Dr. Saltzman was one of them, but what she could tell him, there's nothing between her and Kai, or there is something but she can't know what is it! It's so confusing,

She looked down and sighed from all of the thoughts that are crushing her mind, "look whatever it is I'm not stopping you!" Luna looked at him in surprise, she knows that Kai is his worst enemy. Why he would be okay with whatever between her and Kai, "there is nothing between me and him by the way! It's... It's confusing to me as well" Luna didn't know what else to say so she looked down, "you think you Betrayed me?"
