Michael snuck up the backstairs leading to the lab. Garthe, Goliath, and Karr had all gone missing and it was Devon's belief that they could be teaming up to form one tremendous threat against F.L.A.G. He lost Stevie over six months ago and he couldn't bare the thought of letting Bonnie face the threat without any protection. He was also going to ask her a few questions a bout dangerous melting computer chips that supposedly contained knock out gas.

Stopping at the lab's door, Michael ran a hand through his unruly dark curls as though it were a comb. The suave agent wanted Bonnie to find him attractive and presentable rather than the a hopeless, broken, and the lost soul he felt like.

Slipping past a few large computers and mobile robotic unit's he spotted Bonnie in a remote corner of the room. Her eyes were trained on an object beneath a microscope, so she could not and would not be able to see his careful approach.

Taking on a weird tone Michael spoke up, "excuse me, Miss. I'm looking for the office of student loans."

Without looking up Bonnie gently answered, 'I'm afraid you have the wrong office. Try the administration building."

"Well I would but I bet Devon...and Kitt you'd return after a year and you didn't, " the suave man started with an impish grin appearing upon his face.

"Michael!!!" Bonnie cooed, turning to face him. She stood up from her chair to adore her former co-worker.

She wasted no time in embracing him and likewise, his arms melted around her smaller frame.

After he released the beautiful brunette mechanic, Michael shakily added, "Bons? May I say you still look as beautiful as ever?" His blue eyes sparkling as he spoke to Bonnie. He couldn't outwardly admit it but he missed her so much during the terrible year they had been apart. He wondered if she missed him as much as he had her. But the hypothetical question slipped out of his thoughts as quickly as it had entered them.

"You are still the same old charmer I used to know and like," Bonnie murmured under her breath.

"Michael.... I'm... I'm sorry about Stevie. I meant to come to the funeral but the dean of the University wouldn't let me... and I figured I'd only make things worse," she softly confessed.

"Thanks. The thought is what counts anyways he breathed, pulling her into another hug. His eyes teared up as he used her shoulder for a temporary headrest. He begrudgingly released her again.

"I appreciate it Bons. I think Stevie knew you cared," he remorsefully added.

"How is Kitt? Please don't tell me that you've wrecked him and that you need someone to patch him back together again,' Bonnie desperately implored.

"No... no. It's nothing like that," Michael chuckled.

He had to come clean about the true reason for his visit and he knew she wasn't going to like it. Guardedly Michael spoke,"Bons, I think you had better sit down. I have some bad news and I wish that someone else had been able to break it to you."

Concern took over Bonnie's facial expression and she did as Michael suggested. "What is it, Michael?" She prompted, her dark brows furrowing in confusion.
