Chapter four

It was official, I didn't relate well to people my age. At the beginning of each period, I'd walk in with my resting bitch face and take the empty seat farthest from the front as soon as the teacher dismissed me. Truth be told this day was looking duller and duller. I was finding that most of my peers were the same. Shallow and or just completely fake. Of course, there were exceptions to the rule like this one girl in my calculus, Emily Benett. She was a redhead with gorgeous green eyes. She reminded me of my best friend back in Houston. She was quirky, down to earth, and not afraid to throw down if needed. What made me laugh about that was the sheer size of her. She had to only be one hundred and thirty-five pounds soaking wet.
Anyway, I met a few others but for the most part, I kept to myself. I think Bella picked this up in the locker room.
"Something bothering you?" She asked me as we changed.
"Not really. Just a bit bored," I was now waiting for Bella as I tied my tennis shoes.
I heard the doors open as three vapid looking girls entered the locker room with their "oh my god" and "like totally" attitudes. I sense troubled waters ahead. Reaching for Bella I tried to usher her out but we were both stopped.
"Well look at this. It's the newbies." I fought the urge to puke as I stared at this wannabe valley girl.
"Well well if it isn't the Forks high school welcome wagon. Sorry, I've had enough welcomes to last me a life time." I tried so hard to be nice but the inner bitch was really wanting to tear this bimbo to shreds.
I knew her type. The mean girl who takes pride in making girls either cower in fear or cry in the bathroom.
"You must be the new senior everyone is talking about. You don't look like much, but I guess with a little work you could be like us."
Excuse me?
"That's a mighty fine offer but I'm going to have to politely decline. I've already got a few friends. Don't need anymore," I was pushing Bella towards the doors.
"That wasn't an offer. Your choices sugar cube—" oh no that air-headed bitch didn't, "are join us or I'll end you. I don't think you grasp the gravity of the situation. You came in here on your big bad motorcycle with that bad girl look and it's not going to fly. This is my school and I will not have some biker chick ruining the hierarchy," she scoffs at me and I look to Bella with an are-you-serious look.
"First off, get off your high horse wicked bitch of the west, and second off I could give a rats ass about what you have to say. What it all boils down to is that your self-entitled, cheap press on wearing self is threatened by my existence. News flash, I don't give a shit. You can have your top of the food chain. I just want to get out of here in one piece. Now if you excuse me your majesty, we're going to be late for class."
With that I grabbed Bella and we were out of there. Ain't no way in hell I'll bow down to that. The day I do is when hell freezes over.
:::
Apparently news of my brutal take down of that blonde bimbo spread like wildfire because I had kids who I didn't know walking up to me and giving me high-fives. I felt a bit bad for Bella though because she was now in center stage along side me.
The both of us were flagged down by Jessica Stanley, a girl we met in gym, and Mike Newton, the guy Bella hit in gym with the ball by accident. I sat down next to her kicking my boots up on the empty seat next to me and pulled out an apple.
