I was racing down the streets, my (h/c) hair flying behind me. I was late! Late! I knew I should've woken up earlier! Or I could've gone with Aunt Chrissie! Actually she was busy. Pushing the thoughts out my head, I focused solely on reaching Saotome Academy on time. I only had forty minutes before the test started, and it would take me more then ten to get there. Nooo. C'mon (y/n) you can do this! Sprinting as fast as I could, I tried not to slip at any point.

Yes! I can see it! After running for ten minutes straight, I finally caught a glimpse of the large academy I could be attending in the future. If I just made it to this test on time. "Please!" I begged, turning the corner onto the entrance path. Unfortunately for me, after all this running and being careful, I finally slipped and my feet went flying upwards. I braced for impact, but instead felt nothing. "Huh?" Opening my eyes, I was met with two ruby-red orbs gazing down at me. "You should be more careful. You're going to end up getting hurt one of these days silly!" I smiled. "Otoya!" Said boy lifted me up, keeping a firm arm around my waist. "I thought you would never make it! What took you so long?" He questioned, ruffling my already messed up hair with his hand. I pouted. "I had some trouble along the way." I left it at that, turning my attention to the gate. "Why aren't you already in there? Is everything alright?" I tilted my head in a mixture of confusion and worry. Otoya just rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "Yeah. About that... they won't let us in. They say it's too late to enter now and we should have arrived earlier." He laughed awkwardly, avoiding eye contact with me completely. I felt heart-broken. "No. That can't be. Please! Let us in!" I argued towards the guards, who were standing idly by the entrance gates. "I'm sorry, but you should have come earlier. If you had time to dawdle, you had time to make it to the entrance exam." I felt more of my heart shatter. This was my dream. My hope. I can't just be stopped like this. "Hey. (Y/n). You okay?" Otoya places a comforting hand on my shoulder, which I gladly accepted, leaning into his touch slightly. "We can't give up now! Let's try again!" The redhead tried cheering me on, gripping my hand tightly, before leading us closer to the guards. "Please let us in! We worked hard to come in here and there's still thirty whole minutes until the exam! If we're still in time, why won't you just let us in!?" The guard just shook his head. "No can do. As I said, if you have time to dawdle, you had the time to make it here." I watched as Otoya was going to argue against the guards again. "Hey! C'mon, why..." He was soon cut off by a rather smooth voice from beside us.

"The lady was late because she stopped to help a lost cat on the streets. She managed to get it to a safe place before running over here. If I was you, I wouldn't call that dawdling. No, in fact... I think you should be honouring those sort of people here. Kind-hearted, sweet people."

I stared in awe at the newly-arrived man. He had beautiful strawberry-blonde hair, with soft, blue eyes and a persuasive smile. "Yeah! Please let us in!" Otoya tried continuing from where the gingerette left off. "Who are you?" The guard completely ignored Otoya, making his smile falter slightly. "Also an examinee here. Now. Why won't you let the lovely lady and her friend in?" Giving a blank look to the guards, the male made a hand gesture over to the two of us. "How many times do I have to tell you!? No..." The sentence trailed off from there as both guards hovered over a radio in one of their hands. "Damn... Alright. You can go in." I swear I stopped breathing for a bit. We were allowed in? "Hey! Why won't you just...! Wait! We can go in!? We can go in? We can go in!" Jumping up and down like a kid, Otoya grabbed my hands in his and pulled me into a hug. "We did it! Thank you! Oh thank you! You really have a way with words mister!" Smiling over at the other male, Otoya pulled both of us other to him. "Yes yes." He ignored Otoya? I was confused, but that soon stopped when I noticed something floating above my head. "Hmm?" It was an umbrella. "You gave yours up for the cat did you not? I merely wished to keep you sheltered to." I found myself smiling at the man's words. "Thank you!" A new male handed me the umbrella, as I bowed in thanks to the blue-eyed man. "No need to thank me Kitten. All you need to do is pass the entrance exam and see me in April." (April? I think it's April? Hmm. Anyway...) Bringing my hand to his lips, the gingerette flashed me a daring grin. I felt my face heat up badly, so I gazed down at the floor, my interest in it growing by the second. "Alright? C'mon (y/n) we don't want anymore problems on the way!" Hauling me away from the man, Otoya started racing in the direction of the academy, dragging me with him. Being like I am though, I grabbed ahold of the other male's hand and took him with us. I saw his eyes widen, and I looked away in hopes of hiding my ever-growing blush. "Woohoo!" Otoya was way too happy about this. Laughing quietly, I noticed the orangette picking up his pace, leaving me to be led by two handsome men. "If you're going to drag me with you Kitten. I suggest you choose a place more... private." My blush reached new heights as the male whispered into my ear, before continuing running ahead of me.

"Thank you for the exercise my lady, but I really must be going. Stay safe." Bidding us/me farewell, the gingerette left Otoya and I to catch our breaths. Miraculously, I still had the umbrella the man had given me. I don't even remember having it in my hand. Oh well?! Smiling brightly, Otoya also bid me goodbye. "Sorry (n/n). See you after the exam!" He gave me a quick hug, before dashing off again. Now I was all on my own. I guess I would be alright to find my exam room. Right? Sauntering down the many corridors of Saotome Academy, I noticed a familiar tuff of orange hair. "Ryuya-san!" The figure stopped and I ended up running into their back. "Oww. My nose." I whined, placing a hand on the point of injury. "(Y/n)?" A rough voice inquired. I nodded. "Yup. Do you know where the composer exam rooms are? I'm lost and Otoya is entering to be an idol." The tall, orange-haired man nodded in return to my question. "(N/N)!" An overly-excited voice shrieked right next to us. "Rin-chan?" I swivelled my head to face the direction of the voice. There, in the flesh, was another one of my older friends, Ringo Tsukimiya. "How are you dear? I've missed you!" He squashed me in a frighteningly-hard hug, leaving me gasping for air. Or shall we say she? "Yeah. You saw me last week though!" I tried persuading the cross dressing pinkette to let me go, but to no avail. "Alright. Alright. Let her be. She's got ten minutes until the exam starts." My eyes widened. "Ten minutes!?" I panicked, as Ryuya and Ringo led me to where the exams were taking place. Let's hope I do well!

Was that good? I tried my best, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't that good. I've decided that Reader-chan is going to be an orphan like Otoya, and that she's rather shy and precious. We must protect her! With the Ryuya and Ringo situation, I will explain later. But this means that you already know some of the future idols because of your connections now. Oooh! Sorry. Author-chan is just rambling now. Thank's for reading, and let the next chapter begin!
